> 3 dayInstalled this SSD in Thunderbolt 3 certified enclosure was immediately tested at 1.3 GB/s write speeds. Not a bad rate but not nearly the 3GB/s that was specified.

> 3 dayMy first foray into NVME drives: first, these are surprising thin and small, but it makes cable management a breeze. Note that this one is only PCIe3 - depending on your setup, you could squeeze a little more performance going with the PCIe4 platinum drive. Personally, Im not sure I was going to see much difference in real-world use of some gamin and office-style work, so I decided to save the money with this one.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best PCIE gen3 drives on the market. There are a few better ones from Intel, and 1 better option from Samsung (970 Pro)... but both those drives are more than 2x the cost.

> 3 dayI’ve yet to install this SSD, and may update my review as and when it’s up and running. For what it’s worth I’m sure it works perfectly fine, but this review is purely based on the notice written on the seal of the packaging, which begins:

Greater than one weekI love that this company is eco conscious. Were destroying the environment for these rare Earth metals and whatnot but at least Sk Hynix has bio-degradable packaging. That sounds like Im being sarcastic but I actually do appreciate their effort.

> 3 dayI do a lot of video editing so I need SPACE and SPEED together. This 2TB drive (matched up with a Samsung EvoPlus 2TB) are doing all that Ive asked of them. Both are extremely easy to install. Just remember to GROUND yourself before handling these things. Even though most of the modern electronic devices like these are buffered, why run the risk of damaging it with a static charge? So, make sure you grab a metal ground point in the device youre inserting this into before you touch the SSD card, that reduces the majority of all the risks (providing your computer is actually grounded).
