> 3 dayBought this for storage and speed as Samsung products have been getting bad reviews. The only trouble I had was to get my computer to recognize the drive. I went into bios and turned off safeboot. I restarted and it recognized the drive. If you are upgrading from a lower capacity and making a clone you’ll have to repartition the drive if you want to use the whole drive. If you are building and setting up for the first time you won’t have to worry about it. The drive doesn’t come with a standard encryption like other brands. Bitlocker is a fix but requires windows pro, dev, or edu. If you are a Uni student your university will usually offer education for free which can run Bitlocker. Cheap and easy.

> 3 daySeems great so far! Had some trouble getting my bios to recognize the m2 drive so swapped some sata drives around and moved it to a different m2 slot and was able to get it formatted. The clone utility they provide on their website is amazing for swapping your OS. Amazing how fast I was able to switch everything over and be booting up from this drive!

> 3 dayIts sent pretty fast and precise. This Gum-stick contains powerful performance with low battery consumption. (I use this one for LG gram & It gives longer time when using battery mode.) I hope it can be bought in Korea too. Unless I live in S.Korea. It is unable to buy it directly. I dont know the policy of Hynix. but If they sell it in Korea, It will smash all other competitors.

> 3 dayI have a notebook computer with an M.2 Gen 3 slot. I wanted a 2 TB drive that was energy efficient, both to keep heat down and to help battery life. This one is fast and draws less power than others.

> 3 dayI purchased this internal SSD and couldn’t get Windows installer to recognize it, so I sent it back, thinking I got a bad one. Got another one and had the same problem. It was seen in BIOS of laptop but wasn’t seen when Windows looked for a drive to install OS to. I called HP, and I was told that drives can’t be found during Windows installation when the laptop has a Intel 11th generation processor. I had to download Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers to the Windows installation USB drive, and then I had to install them to the SSD in first step of Windows install.

Greater than one weekI wanted to increase the capacity of the primary (PCIe NVMe) SSD from 500 GB to 1 TB on a workstation. Macriums imaging software (the paid version; I cant vouch for the freebee) made the job effortless.

> 3 dayNVME is small and fragile, its got the same amount of storage space as 4x 125Gb Micro SD cards. You might want to pair with (2, 4, 8Tb) SSD.

> 3 dayMy HP Omen desktop came with a 256GB SSD and I wanted to upgrade to a 1 TB one. I opened up the PC and got the manufacturer info off the existing SSD. I wasnt familiar with SK Hynix but as it had worked for me 100% without a problem for the year I have the PC I decided to get the 1TB chip and give it a try.
