My 10 year old Granddaughter has gotten into drawing/sketching. She asked for some sketching pencils so I got these for her as a gift. It was a set I was glad to give. She lives in another State so I haven’t seen any of her drawings yet but she loved getting them.

Purchased 4 of these sketch pencil sets for myself and as gifts. Really nice, great quality and good price.

i wish instead of giving four 4b pencils . the other 7,8,&9 b pencils were provided . seems like a waste. but this is a nice set

I was very excited to receive it!! I bought it because I was used to drawing with a mechanical pencil and wanted to start using different types of pencils and drawing tools to study academic art. It is a good pack for beginners, the only thing that would be missing is sandpaper to sharpen the pencils better. The pencils could be of better quality, but I have been using them and they are going well. What I do not like so much is the Kneaded eraser, but I am aware that for that price it is difficult to find them of good quality. I love the case, it is super practical and beautiful.

I just restarted drawing after quite a few years and I needed a good set of pencils. So I ordered this set, number one for the case and number two for the price. $13? I couldn’t pass it up. I just got it and the pencils are very good quality, it made my drawings much better than with just a regular school pencil. With a 2B you just barely have to touch the paper and can make a good light mark, with the number 2 HB school pencil making light marks was very difficult. I must say after drawing a sphere with a 2B a 4B and an 8B and a blending stomp my drawings look a lot better. Also the case is very nice, it rolls up really tight and can fit in a jacket pocket i suppose. Its good for travel and a quick sketch while you are out. I really recommend this set to anyone starting out, you wont be disappointed. I added the sphere I drew for reference of what to pencils can actually do. ***UPDATE*** I’m changing my review from five stars to four. The little X-acto knife/box cutter thing that was supposed to be used to sharpen the graphite of the pencils was bent really bad and the blades would not come out so I had to throw it away, plus it had some sort of oil on it that made my hand smell really bad even after washing them. I went to the local hardware store and got me a plastic on for 70 cents so no biggie.
