Skip Hop Toddlers Activity Chairs, White

SaysWhat???
Greater than one weekThe Activity Center is wonderful...I used it for my daughter and will happily use it again for baby #2. The chairs??? I believe them to be dangerous. There were two phases where these chairs gave me palpitations, and finally this morning I put all the chairs in the garage and I just ordered a wood childs table with regular, wood chairs. 1) When transitioning from the activity center to the activity table, my daughter already knew how to get into regular chairs and sit, but these chairs confused her. She kept trying to put weight on the lip in the back and sit on that first which of course would start to topple. After a week she figured out how to safely sit in the chair but that first week or so was worrisome. 2) Now that my daughter is 2+, she is trying to reach everything she can up high. She will use anything she can to stand on...the past 2 weeks she has been using these chairs. Because they are so light, she can pick them up and run fast across the room before I can get to her. This morning she grabbed a chair and tried to stand up in it really quickly before I could pull her off. In her haste, she stepped up with all her weight on that stupid lip in the back, which cause the chair to flip over backwards at the same time she came crashing down forward. We are so lucky that she landed perfectly between the chair legs. With the force that she came down with, if she came down on just one of those legs on her face...her mouth, her teeth, her eyes... I cant even think about it. In addition, I have gotten caught up and tripped on these chair legs a few times in the past. The best way I can describe them is that they are heavy enough to be an obstacle, but not heavy enough to be sturdy. Again, the Activity Center is great and the dual-use option really does make it a smart purchase....but I strongly suggest you get different chairs. Nice, solid wood painted chairs could look really nice with this.

> 3 dayWe have the Skip Hop convertible table and knew we wanted to purchase these chairs to match. We ended up getting four so our childrens friends would have a place to sit when they came over to play. Great little chairs that are easy to assemble and easy to clean.

> 3 dayI love it for my 19 months old. He take it and carry it around the house to different places to climb up on top of the chair to reach the counter. He also use it to sit at the marching table to eat and play. The chair can hold my 200lbs husband sitting on it. It was hard for me to assemble it at first but once its in, it is in. I was able to wipe off the crayon marks and food off the chair. Its light and easy to carry around. It matches the table. So far no complain. Im saving the other chair for my daughter.

> 3 dayI like these as they match the table, but they are just stools not a true chair with a back. Our 1 year old can climb up into them and sit but has fallen out. It’s fine for the price though so we kept them.

> 3 dayThese are great, just dont like the way it makes the child slouch down since it has little back support. Overall, a great chair for kids.
