Greater than one weekNot sure s out these sponges. I don’t think they retain smells like the normal sponges do but the sponge part is very soft. They retain a lit of soap and it’s hard to rinse it all out. With normal sponges I microwave them a minute to zap the germs. Not sure I could do that with these. I fear they would melt. But since I bought them for odor control, I think they are ok for that purpose

They dont get smelly the way my old sponges did, and the logo on the abrasive side wears off in about the perfect amount of time to replace the sponge, which is extremely helpful to know how old the sponge is. These make doing dishes less of a chore.
