Skylanders Spyros Adventure: Drobot

Drobot is a great addition to our skylander team. I have played this figure quite often and it is pretty strong once you have it completely upgraded.

I bought this for my son last year. I couldnt find it in any of the stores. Needless to say, my son loves it and I got it for a great price.

Great gift

For those that have already bought the Skylanders Starter Pack, youve probably got annoyed that youd have to keep on pressing the A button to have trigger happy fire faster. Well, now your problem is solved, Drobot is a dragon that built a metallic, robotic suit that gives him powers of unimaginable heights! Drobot shoots lasers from his eyes, and is a lot easier to use than trigger happy, since all you have to do is hold down the A button, and destroy! The B button throws blade gears to either side of you, its not good to aim at enemies, since they dont go straight forward. But are excellent to hurt enemies that you cant get to. For example, if you are fighting a Drow witch, and their is a Chompies gaining on you. You can throw some blade gears. And since they bounce of walls a couple of times, there is a good chance it will hit the Chompies, while you continue destroying that Drow witch. Other than the continuous, deadly lasers, my favorite thing about Drobot is the thruster flight. It is faster than the flying of most other dragons. Sadly, when you get the thruster flight, you can only go forward, there is no hovering, and if you touch an object, you immediately start walking again. There is an upgrade later that allows you to hover by holding down the Z button, but there is no upgrade to continue flying even if you bump into an object (if you are on the water and hit and object, you just bounce the other way).

My neice really enjoyed this Skylander. I dont know much about them but she seemed to be really impressed with its special abilities.

big hit under the tree. my grandaughter loves this game. I bought it the day after Thanksgiving even if it wasnt on her list. But at the last min she wanted it and guess what?

Looked like fun but since it was a gift I cant say much else.
