Skylanders is a great game, and these figures allow the kids to add to their collections. If you are unfamiliar with the game, the figures are used in the game by placing them onto a base (portal of power). When you add them to the base, the character from your figure appears in game. Leveling up, special items, and weapons are saved onto the character itself, which can then be taken to other houses for play with their friends (even cross console). In addition, the characters come with a code for playing online and a collector card. Its like webkinz, pokemon cards, and a video game all in one.
