Edit: Got a replacement for the first one that would not take micro sd card. This one, the sd card slid right in. Its working just fine on my PS Vita. Still early days, but Im pleased with the results. Good inexpensive alternative to Sony colossal failure of their proprietary memory cards. The adapter is a lifesaver! First one I received, it wouldnt take the micro sd card. I jiggled it, prodded, and tried to poke it in. No go. Returned and being sent another one. Will update if I just had bad luck with a defective device.

This item claims to be a memory card adapter. It is not the size of the memory card. It goes in the game slot so if you needed extra storage for a game you had on cartridge that wont help you. I was hopeful that maybe that was just how it worked but nope, the PS Vita does not even detect it. Im not sure if anyone was able to get it to work but I certainly wasnt. Overall Im fine with the outcome, if this product had actually worked itd be 5 stars because the price is great and it did look exactly like the picture.

Taking in mind that the psvita storage cards are expensive for no reason this product makes it 10 times easier. It works with all my sd card, its not an expensive adapter and is easy to use. The only downside is that you wont be able to play any of your card games (obviously), you can only play your games digitally.

It works - if you know HOW it works. Half the reviews bombing this thing are because they arent homebrewed, are being rough with it or cant find the right hole. Fortunately most of these people wont manage to procreate with skillsets like that so onwards for the rest of us: After a repeated series of insertions it became apparent that longevity is not part of the design. a pin came free internally and now the device refuses to read (missing a pin, i cant blame it). For five bucks you bet ive already bought a second one and my lesson is learned - easy does it with this toy.

Ive had my vita sitting there collecting dust for a long time but this really came in handy and now there is so much to do its hard to put down! This adapter really made all of that possible.

I honestly wish I had known about this product years ago. It seriously expanded the memory of my PS Vita a significantly.
