I really like this wrap! My baby is currently 6 weeks old and we have used it daily for about a week and a half. I’m a first time mom and new to baby wearing. Here’s why I’m giving the wrap 4 stars: 1) The fabric is somewhat thick- thicker than a T-shirt and it can get hot if you wear it for a long time. I’ll have my baby in it for about two hours at a time (I wear her between feedings) and she’s hot to the touch and sometimes a little sweaty after I take her out of the wrap. It’s winter and I wear this wrap with a tank top on and my baby still gets hot. If I get cold, it’s easy to put a cardigan or light jacket on. I’m actually about to order the Solly wrap and hopefully that will keep my baby from getting so hot during baby wearing since the fabric on the Solly is apparently lighter weight. 2) The instructions included are not helpful at all, at least for newbies like myself! If you are looking to buy a baby wrap (probably from any brand), just go on YouTube and teach yourself. There’s definitely a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you can put the wrap on in a minute or less. From what I understand about baby wearing, there are different wrap holds depending on how old (or young) the baby is. After watching several YouTube videos from different people, the video I found to be the most helpful was from Farmhouse on Boone. The video is called Babywearing Wrap Tutorial- How to wrap a Newborn in a Moby wrap. In the video she’s using a Solly wrap, but she said she using the same technique with the Moby. This Sleepy Wrap seems to be shorter in length than most wraps on the market, but I’m still able to wrap the exact same way as she did in the video, just with less excess hanging fabric. For me, I appreciate the wrap being shorter because I’m 5’3”. I encourage anyone to keep practicing with baby wearing if you’re feeling overwhelmed with practicing. It took me a while (a couple of days in 10-15 minute increments) to get the hang of it and honestly I was too scared in the beginning to put my baby in it because I was worried I didn’t tie or twist something correctly. Just practice and trust yourself! I find that I get so much done while wearing my baby and she falls asleep in the wrap every single time...although she will cry for about 30 seconds or so before falling asleep. Just sway side to side and rub baby’s back or pat baby’s fanny and I’m sure your baby will fall asleep in the wrap too.

My newborn baby was not into being swaddled so much, however when I put this thing on and wrapped her up into it, she would nap almost immediately. The material is quite thick and will get warm, and your baby will sweat if she gets hot. Perfect for wanting to hold you baby and have both hands free, her legs can dangle on the outside or you can tuck her legs into the wrap as well. My hubby can even wear this, it is one size fits all and the material is super long I mean long so you may need to watch a youtube video on how to put this on properly as the brochure that came with this was no help. Once you master this you will not go back to any other wraps. Once you get used to it, it is easy on and easy off. My 3 month old is comfortable in this and I do not have to worry if she is secure because she is certainly wrapped well and kept warm and comfy. Living in SC so not sure if I will wear this in the summer, it may too warm for her. Overall very happy with the quality.

So far so good! I have 3 kids and I waited and waited when I had the first two because money was tight and it seemed frivolous. And then they got too big for a wrap. With my most recent child though, I just went for it and I’m glad I did. It’s worth the investment. My daughter loves it and it frees up my hands for other things while still being able to be close to my baby. I can’t wash dishes though because I’m short and my little one would get smooshed against the counter, which is a bummer, but I’m able to be more productive than if I had to carry her in my arms. It gets pretty hot in there, but she usually has to come out for feeding and diaper changes so not too big of a deal. I just leave it on, which was less comfortable in the summer, but it’s winter now so it’s like wearing a fashionable vest :P It took me putting it on and sticking her in a few times to figure out what worked best for us, but I think I got it. My husband is having a more difficult time and ops for just carrying her in his arms. Different people, I guess. He is not detail oriented and gets frustrated with things like this. BUT if he did like using it, it’s nice because it fits us both. I’m not quite 5 feet and he’s 6’2”. The last thing I want to share is: about half the time I use this, my baby will throw up all over it. It’s a pain because then I have to wash the whole thing, but it’s great because I CAN wash the whole thing. No attachments, bells or whistles to worry about.

I bought mine for my dog. Shes elderly and cant really get out like before. It kept her warm and comfortable. She was able to hang out for an entire festival and was comfortable to sleep part of the way.

This is my first baby wrap and I am very impressed with everything about it. Not overly stretchy. My daughter seems to love it (she fell asleep pretty fast) and I am now able to have my hands free to look after her twin sister or do any housework. I highly recommend this and will probably buy another one.

Im one of those I never write reviews people, but Im sitting at my laptop with my 6 week old nestled and sleeping comfortably in this wrap, so I think that speaks for itself. I was given a hand-me-down Moby wrap. I was so excited to use it. It was so cumbersome to put on, and I even had a babywearing expert help me with it. I got the hang of it, but inevitably, the sections that hold the babys head against your body - SO important for a newborn with no neck strength, would never stay snug. I would readjust and readjust and it just never worked. I dont know if the one I was given was super stretched out or what. But my baby would be snug inside while his head would be dangling completely backward and flop all around. NOT good. Also the fabric was pretty rigid with the Moby and so I think if I didnt have his feet perfectly inside and wore him for a long time, it would pin his feet in an uncomfortable position. So I would put him in an Ergo 360 I was given, inside the baby insert, and he felt more secure but it just seemed like overkill for just walking around the house. So in frustration I went on Amazon and typed in baby wrap to see what might be a bestseller, and this item popped up with great reviews so I ordered it. It arrived yesterday and I immediately tried it out. I liked the stretchy nature of the fabric, and the grey color. I immediately tried it on with my son and it seemed to hold his head down gently. I then washed it because it did have a slight smell to it. There were no washing instructions so I washed it in a normal warm cycle and dried on low. I cant tell if it shrank at all, but seemed to still be really nice after washing. Today I tried the wrap for real, and I was right, the stretchy fabric is exactly what is needed! I didnt need to be very exact with how I tied it. He seems to mold perfectly into this wrap. It is a soft, forgiving fabric, which is nice for little ones - who needs rigid fabric for an 8lb child? - but still very supportive. I dont feel like hed fall out, but I dont feel like hes plastered to me. And best of all, the fabric gently but securely holds his head against my chest. hes sleeping very soundly right now, and I can go about my day, doing dishes, laundry and work on the computer with him nice and close and safe. Hes been on me for about 2 hours now and nothing seems to be loosening up or shifting. If you are between this wrap and the Moby, go with this one! I will say since this is the first day Ive tried it, I cant comment on how it will hold up in the long run but first impression, this wrap is just perfect.

Im pretty sure Im going to return this, as when I use it for my almost 12 lb daughter, she slides down as I walk. I might not be wrapping and tying it tight enough, or maybe the material isnt thick/strong enough, but Im following the instructions, so not sure what else to do.
