I thought they wouldn’t work because they are pretty small and look flimsy but my toddler has tried to yank my sliding wood pantry doors open with this lock on and has not been able to! So far so good!

At last- my adored kitten can no longer burglarize my closets! Easy to use and looks nice with honey colored wood sliding closet doors. It would disappear on a white surface. Be sure the doors or windows are snug to their frame with no play before applying. The only way to remove it is with dental floss, then you are down one of the 4 clips provided. We have a special needs child who sleepwalks and sometimes does whatever he wants. We went on vacation to a resort that has a pool directly outside our back patio. I put these guys on the sliding glass door and I don’t have to worry about anything. I e also used these on a cruise we took a few years ago for the same reason to keep the kids in when they were younger. I must have for kids!

I’ve tried similar child locks of the same style that work better. When you try to open the door without opening the lock, the lock flexes and feels like it will peel off. The locking mechanism isn’t as good as others I’ve tried, you have to be careful about making sure it’s clicked into the locked position.

This was the prefect solution to keeping my 18 month old from playing with the by pass shower glass door! It also works on my closet sliding doors.

My large cat is very orange and loves getting into my closet. This keeps him from shedding all over my mostly black clothes.
