Slugfest Games The Red Dragon Inn 5 Strategy Boxed Board Game Ages 13 & Up (SFG019)

I expected more characters than the standard 5 found in the normal starter box.

If you like Red Dragon Inn and are planning to play it a lot and/or purchase expansions, then get this first. The pouches provided hold and organize all the small pieces, there are deck organizers for every character and drink deck in every expansion, and even the smaller compact player cards put out with later expansions are provided for the earlier releases that had the larger ones. This completely eliminates having to carry half a dozen boxes with small cardboard pieces rattling away in each. Everything is made of stronger materials than the standard boxes as well, so you can expect it to last through many, many game nights and trips across town in the floorboard. My only gripe is that it is pretty heavy, even with just the 5 expansions I have in it. That is pretty much to be expected though, with as much stuff that it carries.

I love RDI and have several expansions. It was nice to be bale to put them in one box! The box is really thick, sturdy and well made. There is plenty of room (so far) for all the cards (sleeved), coins, tokens and manuals.

Im a bit upset that my copy of this came with two Joran the Trickster dividers, and none for Captain Whitehawk. Since the 4th game doesnt have their own dividers, Im now stuck with an incomplete set.

I like that I now have a bigger box to fit my collection, but I was missing the divider for Sera. That was kind of disappointing, but I should be able to make do.

I would only recommend this version of Red Dragon if you are planning on collecting the series. The additional price and bigger size are really only justifiable when collecting the others. When all of the expansions currently available are combined they take up a little over half the box. It is unlikely that you will ever run out of room with this thing.

Love that you can fit all the things in this box! It makes for such a better organized space. Wish it wouldve been maybe double stacked inside the box with like the cards at the bottom, then a try insert above it for all the boards and coins and such. It would be a bit taller but not as awkward wide and big. I had all of my Red Dragon Inns in my game cabinet. This is too big and has to sit on top. Plus side more room for new games! Down side this one gets dusty.

This set is great for whwn u have a few of the games as well it adds to the game as well.. i have 4-7 and being able to put them in one box and take to family gathering is great.

Wonderful expansion on the games and with complete chance to consolidate all the various expansions together what could be better?
