> 24 hourUsed this to replace old cracked tablet screen. I used a hair dryer to heat the old screen to get the glue softer. Came right off. Just go easy and take your time to just remove the screen and not hurt the digitizer under the screen. Looks and works like new..

> 24 hourIt’s only a screen. Watch a couple videos on YouTube before ordering. You also need the lcd since the original screen is glued to lcd and can’t be easily removed

> 24 hourThe the tools worked great to open the case. The kit needs a tool to get between the GLASS and the touch screen it is attached to. The replacement glass scree is unused. The broken glass screen is still attached to the now broken touch screen. If you get this kit Heat the broken glass to melt the glue. Yes heat! the broken glass to remove it. I did not so I went and bought another TAB A. The replacement glass is in great condition in the box.

> 24 hourThis is not the actual touchscreen and I knew that. However, I did not know that the original cracked glass I was trying to replace was adhered to the delicate touchscreen beneath in a bond only breakable by the tablet repair gods. All of the videos made it look easy (they are experts). Little heat gun, a little thin flat tool--the stuff that comes with it is useless except for removing the screen from the tablet casing, and a whole lot of patience... I was prepared. However, I must have missed the part where I needed to exchange my soul to actually lift the adhesive or face the wrath of the tablet repair gods. Two hours of frustration and positive self-talk, shattered glass showered, like a dusting of snowy crystals all over my person and kitchen, an hour of clean up, admission of defeat, and finally what I should have done from the beginning, a 30-minute drive to a Best Buy to purchase a new tablet. For reference, I have repaired/replaced many iPhone/iPad/Chromebook screens (too many Chromebook screens) with my soul intact so I had no qualms about tackling this.

> 24 hourDont waste your time. This is just the glass. The way this is manufactured youll break the lcd trying to get the glass away from the lcd. Just order that. No instructions included. Tools were not good. Doesnt include the needed adhesive.
