I bought this to carry my diabetic supplies. I am type 1, and have to carry my test kit, insulin pump supplies, etc. All of it fit quite easily, and I am able to carry additional things, like first aid supplies, plus all my credit cards, license, insurance info, and membership cards. I saw a few reviews that complained about the zippers, and the canvas being stiff, but that hasnt been the case for me. The only minor drawback is there isnt an external sleeve that my phone can fit in, but I can stick it in one of the zipper pockets. Not as easy to access, but not any real problem, as it isnt really what I bought it for.
