> 24 hourThis is a really good air purifier. (I only wish all of my purchase decisions worked out this well). I have allergies, mostly in the Spring, and this purifier has really helped me. The best location, the one I would recommend, is your bedroom, given that you are guaranteed to spend about 7 hours there every night. I also bought a 2nd one for my TV/family room (again, because Im in there on a daily basis). In terms of odors, it helps with those too, although thats not really its primary benefit. The pet odor in my house was never that bad, but this purifier still helps with it. If you have allergies, I would highly recommend this model.

> 24 hourI like the quiteness of it. Only have used it for a week now and would like to have another one for my living room. Using this one for the family room. My cat loves it to, likes to sleep by it, guessing the air flow across him is what he likes. Hoping to get another one in the future.

> 24 hourI placed this unit in the room with my cat litter box hoping to cut down on the dust in addition to keeping the air fresh. I am very happy with the results after a month of use.

> 24 hourIt has a high pitched squeal on settings 3 and above. I am returning it.

> 24 hourI bought this about a week ago after my wife brought home a kitten. Im mildly allergic to cats. Rather than get rid of the kitten, who quickly became a member of the family, I wanted to try anything else to address my quickly mounting allergies. This machine made a difference within an hour of turning it on. My allergic symptoms lessened, and then subsided. At the same time, it cleared the air of some of the pet funk that you inevitably bring into your home with any new animal. Its also managed to detect, and filter, smells like vinegar and aerosol fumes, clearing the air in our living space better than I could have hoped. My only complaints are 1) that the auto function seems a bit inconsistent - sometimes it will pick up on something subtle from the other side of the house, and other times it wont pick up on the freshly-used litterbox just feet away, and 2) It doesnt come with any extra filters. It would have been nice to have at least one set of replacement filters. Even with these complaints, I definitely recommend it. Its lightweight and easy to use, and very quiet. Even at its highest setting its no louder than your average table or ceiling fan.

> 24 hourAir Purifier I wanted to wait a few months before writing a review for this air purifier. I’ve had it for around 7 months now and I am so glad I purchased it. The design is reminiscent of a product designed by a fruit company in Cupertino. By that I mean it is a very modern and attractive design. With clean lines and lots of small thoughtful elements that make for a overall great presentation. The large high-contrast, backlight display is located on the top of the unit. The touch sensitive buttons are large and easy to see. The filter compartment is accessed by a door held on by magnets. This is a very well considered design choice. The sounds this unit makes when powering on and pressing buttons is very pleasing to my ear. Even the alert sound to change the filter wasn’t harsh or jarring like other purifiers I’ve owned. PSA: To reset the filter replacement reminder just hold down the buttons that are pulsing for a few seconds. The generally flat surfaces make it very easy to clean. I have a significant visual impairment and I was easily able to unpack and set this up with no issues. I noticed a difference in the quality of the air in my bedroom within 30 minutes of starting the unit. I mainly just leave it on high and put it in turbo mode before bed and after I get up. This mode puts the fan to an extra high setting (about 66db according to my Apple Watch) for one hour then returns the purifier to your previous setting. When I walk out of my bedroom in the morning. I can tell a significant difference between the smell of the air there and the smell in the rest of the house. It makes me want to put these in every room. However that’s not an option due to budget limitations. Speaking of budget limitations. The filter cost is substantial. When taking into account the every 90 day replacement recommendation. I did have two issues with my unit. The first was a bad laser sensor that measures the air quality. Customer service was quick to replace the sensor. The second was an intermittent high pitched noice coming from the fan. That I didn’t share with customer service. Customer service was excellent. They were easy to understand and quick to offer solutions to my issue. I had a third issue that was totally user created and they resolved it quickly. I will not go into detail here because I know every case is different. In summary this is an item I hope to be using for a long time to come. It’s much like an Apple product. It just makes you feel good when you are interacting with it. But like Apple products there is a high cost of ownership. In this case I think you get what you pay for. Is it for you? Can you find something more economical that will fit your needs? These are questions I can not answer for you. What I can say is this. It’s been several months since my purchase and I don’t regret it one bit. Thanks for taking the time to read my review. Pleas feel free to post any questions you have and I will do my best to answer them.

> 24 hourIts a beautiful thing, for one. And an advantage I didnt expect: the sound it emits is very relaxing. I keep mine on high speed usually since my space is so large but I smoke, and wanted to smoke indoors this past (cold) winter, and that plus cat hair was to be its primary function. (And since the covid thing, Ive been smoking more). The last purifier we had didnt have this nice, low/steady hum, but more like an irritating noise. But I dont notice this one, except that I think the sound has helped keep me relaxed! (Come to think of it, a paranoid type might find it hypnotic). But if I want absolute quiet (rarely), it goes off. Another effect I should have expected with the whole concept: it cools the room. We already have central air, but in my smoking section of the house (my sitting room with a sofa and 2 desks), the air is noticeably cooler. Ive turned the speed down or even off to warm up at times. The light doesnt go orange with a cigarette lit! Maybe its far enough away, or cleans it as the smoke goes through? But I know something works well, because if I spritz hairspray or cleaning fluids: insta-RED! And note: dont expect miraculous clean smelling air: smoke and other aromas can still have left a residue on clothing and furniture, so those things will keep the area smelling like smoke (or wet animals, etc) until you wipe down or clean surfaces. But overall, this thing helps the air smell a LOT. —Even a possible negative: I love scented candles, but cannot smell them beyond the air purifier! I still buy them, but youve basically got to turn Hatha all the way down just to enjoy the candles or baked goods! Im going to pick up more (name-brand) filters, so that means this is a pretty good 5 star for me. However, the whole setup could be FAR more impressive with (1) better instructions - Im still not sure what sleep does exactly (its not just dimming lights, so I think its like a laptops sleep mode but loses the settings?); and Timer is useless for me (does the thing go off, or just to Auto, when times out?). The worst, though: (2) the AWFUL remote layout, and possibly the purifiers panel layout (which I never use). On the remote, Ive learned to ignore all but the sleep and speed buttons. Im going to put little knobs on the random middle Speed and Sleep buttons, because hitting the wrong button is frustrating (especially if youre sleepy, or in a rush to get out). But fix those simple things, Id call this a solid 5 star versus a good enough 5 star; worth the (hefty, imo) pricetag.

> 24 hourI never take the time to write products reviews, however this purifier is truly worth the time if it can help anyone! I have reccomended it to numerous people on a personal level! First off, I spent MONTHS reviewing air purifiers and kept ignoring my desire for one knowing how most make minimal difference or tend to not last. It came to a point that broke down and made the investment with high hopes that it would help my daughters sinus allergies. I can not begin to tell you how guilty i felt for not buying this product sooner!!! Before saying what it has done for us, I want to mention that my daughter had a cough specifically at night from age 2 on (shes now 6) and also had that constant allergy that never went away. We had tried numerous natural methods as well as medicines and monitoring for a possible specific illness or allergy and could never find a cure. We had this unit running 2 days and she was clear!!! I kept waiting for it to come back. It had to be a fluke. Here we are just under 1yr later and she has yet to have the symptoms resurface aside from a couple inevitable minor colds. That in itself has sold me 100% Also to include, for those simply seeking cleaner air and want assurance of the quality of this product aside from how it helped my daughters health, i have been assured over and over with undenying proof! We are currently mid remodel of our home. Without much detail its old, majorly outdated and is being renovated from a poorly maintained duplex. Weve had mold, musty carpet under appliances, etc. Im for one very easily bothered by all of the above and this purifier has made the difference between me having painful, irritated lungs for a couple days after tearing into walls/flooring to completely symptom free. We have had an entire room clouded with drywall dust completely clear within 2 hours and the filters packed with the debri just to simply take them out, vaccum the debri, air them out and good to go again. Ive had new filters on hand for over a month now and havnt had to replace them yet! I have no doubt that you will not regret this purchase!!!

> 24 hourTLDR: If you have the means to buy this, and you are considering buying it. Absolutely go for it. For people wondering about noise, at the lowest setting it was at 45dB which is quieter than my keyboard which at the same distance was around 70 dB Medium setting from 7 inches is 50dB and high around 57dB For air impurities detection I used Febreze as a stand-in. Spraying for 5 seconds 10 feet away it took the purifier about 13 seconds for it to bring the speed up to medium, and 2 seconds after that it ramped up to high. My wife and I bought this to keep in our room. I suffer from terrible allergies, which causes frequent migraines. We were skeptical about just how affective this would be for us, due to the price and the defined square feet. After about a month of use I can confidently say this is one of the best air purifiers I have ever used. The compact size of it makes it very convenient to be stored under our desks for as little intrusion as possible. This purifier has made a world a difference for me, helping with my allergies immensely. We also have two cats and a dog and I have noticed that the room doesnt have a stale animal smell. Now about that smoke demo. My wife was going to make something in the oven about a week ago, and we had a pizza box from lunch sitting in the oven(ya know, to keep it warm) and she turned the oven up to 450F. I smelled it before I saw it. The pizza box had caught on fire and smoke began to fill the room. I got the pizza box out but the smoke was still a problem. I took the purifier and set it on the counter in the kitchen to try to get some of that smoke taken care of. It took 3 minutes for all the smoke to be gone. I thought the video was a gimmick at first, but damn that was very impressive.
