This is my third wifi garage door opener and is the best Ive ever used. Im not to tech savy so I needed some tech support for setup. The tech support I got was the best tech support that I have ever got anywhere. Great Product, Great Support. Dont waste your time with any of the other wifi garage door openers.

The device was very easy to install and was a lot more affordable than even the name brand app. I have a genie door opener and I bought the door controller by genie. It was very hard to install and didnt work half the time. I returned it and bought this instead and it is much easier to use. I also connected it to my alexa and it works wonderfully. I liked it so much I bought a second garage door opener for my other door in addition to other smart devices and I have been very pleased. I would highly recommend.

This kit is very easy to install. The sensor is wireless too. No need to run any wire. I just hooked up the control unit to the garage door switch on the wall. It took me less than 15 minutes. Now, I can control the garage door by voice in my car using Echo Auto. Better than spending $300 to add Homelink to my Tesla Model 3 that does not come with garage door opener as standard equipment. FOLLOW UP After using it for a couple months, my hub losed connection to the Internet a few times for whatever reasons. When that happens, I cant open the garage door using the app. Im sure my Internet connection was not the problem because everything else works fine when the hub had problem.

Had some connection issues initially and then once it worked, my garage door wouldnt close all the way whether I used this unit or the manual button. I called YoLink (on a Sunday no less) and talked to them about my issue. They stated some garage door openers have compatibility issues, so they sent me a manual device they call a finger that mounts near the manual open/close button. Once I installed the finger, the unit worked like a charm. Garage door can be opened/closed from anywhere using my phone (assuming I have internet access). Also handy in case I cant remember if I closed my garage door, because the app shows the position of the door. The customer support provided by this company was the best Ive ever seen. I had a problem, they had a solution and handled it very quickly.

This was pretty easy to install. I installed it in parallel with the original button on my 19 y/o Genie garage door opener. I wish the USB power cable came with a longer pigtail.

I bought this YoLink Garage Door Kit to replace a GoControl Zwave garage door opener that simply could never maintain a good connection. While I was initially hesitant to start with a whole new ecosystem, so far it has been rock solid and reliable. It was extremely easy to install and pair to the app. Since then I have added several other YoLink devices to my smart home environment and theyve all been just as reliable.

Easy setup. Followed the simple one page setup that came with each device. Devices found internet and connected automatically. Easy peasy. Get this one. It works.

I ordered this after the Nexx Garage security issue. The packaging is great, the install is easy and the app is OK. It worked fine for the first week but the second week Ive had two failures where the hub was offline and that disables the unit rendering it useless. I had to go power cycle the hub to get it to work again. Ive contacted support so resolution is TBD. Reddit has a thread showing that this is a common issue that I dont think has been resolved yet. This may go back for a refund... EDIT 1 - A few weeks later, Ive contacted support and after a few messages they determined the hub needed to be replaced. The replacement unit looked different than what was originally shipped and so far 100% reliable. Rating raised from 3 to 4 stars EDIT - 2, Well heck, 10 minutes after EDIT 1 I left for work and the darn thing doesnt work again. See the error message screen shot. Time to contact support again and lower it to 2 stars. My patience is running out Edit 3. Units are 6 ft apart and still fail to communicate intermittently. Seller offered a refund and Ill accept it
