Got this so I can have it work with Alexa but it ket dropping or go offline, I check my wifi and the connection is good. 2 out of 4 works 90% connected to wifi and the other 2 likes to connect every other time

Thought I would try a couple of these, nice surprise Expect it to be the same as the Gosund I had order a few months ago While I have not yet tried it I give 5 stars for assembly 1 screw under the qc sticker and clips on the sides, no freaking glue to mess with Open in less than a minute, easy to get all the plastic out of the way to solder your leads to the TYWE2S Contains TYWE2S , ESP8285 based chip-set. I really dont see this being any issue to reflash, as recent reports might indicate, tuya convert may no longer work and I really did not expect it to so I did not want to even try

Love how I can use the app to set schedules for on and off.

I was skeptical that these would work based on some of the negative reviews. But I got these on sale so I figured I would try them.. and I’m happy to report that they work great! The size of the smart outlet is perfect-allowing me to still have room to plug in something else in the same light socket- which was important to me. I am fairly tech savvy, so I would say they were pretty easy to figure out install and set up with my Alexa Show 5 (2nd generation). After downloading the Smart Life app and connecting each smart plug to the desired lamp in the app- I labeled each room and light in “home management”, I was then easily able to pair it through my Alexa app by adding a new SKILL with Alexa. Now I’m able to say turn on or off lights to Alexa and she is able to do so with every lamp that is plugged into one of these smart plugs! One lamp stopped working or “lost connection” with my Alexa, but I was able to easily re-install the outlet through the smart life app and it’s been working ever since! I can see how it might be a bit of a learning curve for some, but after a little trial and error and Googling some pairing to Alexa questions, I am extremely happy with my purchase. Have recommended to friends and family and plan to buy more of these from this exact company!

I wont go into too much detail. I use these types of plugs for devices I want to power down or power cycle now and again without reaching for the cable...modem, router, Fiber ONT, indoor cameras, etc. Theyve worked very nicely, in general. I own 4 of this brand and the one assigned to my Fiber ONT however, will just randomly turn off, no rhyme or reason. Its plugged into a UPS, so its not like I can blame a power surge or black/brownout. Ive checked Alexas history to make sure no one said any magic words by accident close to Turn off the Fiber Modem Plug. I checked the UPS software history to make that sure power didnt go out and drain it till it powered off while we were sleeping (It lasts 1hr + and I would know if lights went out that long anyway, even after going to bed). I even went so far as to check the app and scheduling to make sure there wasnt some schedule injected. I found nothing. The last scenario is a software updade? No. Firmware is the same as the day I got it. This has happened before, I just sort of ignored it as the plug being loose or something else, but this is now a pattern. The only thing left to think is that this plug is powering itself off, randomly, for no reason. Time to check the warranty!

There really nice takes a bit as far as setup to work the way you want but after doing so there amazing I use them everyday super convenient

These work great and they are easy to install. I hope they come out with thinner ones.

this is the biggest piece of junk if you want to pay money for something that will take you hours of your day to figure out they just dont work then buy them i smashed mine with a hammer good luck
