> 24 hourThe instructions give you two ways to connect to your home wi-fi network but neither way worked. Be aware that it will ONLY connect on an older 2.4Ghz network so if you dont have a dual band router or an older 2.4Ghz network youre out of luck. I have both, but even following both their ways of connecting and setting it up to work with Alexa it didnt work and the light just flashed continuously.

> 24 hourLoved the device but after a few weeks of switching a 7.5amp inductive load, it let the magic smoke out and quit working..although its rated at 10 amps, it is probably best to load to 5 amps max.. it just dosnt seem to be able to handle surge at start up of attached device..

1, If the indicator doesn"t flashing when you plug in the smart plug for first connection, please hold a 5-7 seconds press on the button of your smart plug and see if it"s start flashing;
2, APP is Smart Life, you can scan the QR code in box or download on APP Store and Google Play.
3,The smart plug only works with 2.4 GHz network. If your router broadcasts both 2.4 and 5GHz, please selected the 2.4GHz network with the app. If connection still failed,we recommend you call your ISP and had them completely shut off the 5 GHz network on the router; You are free to change the network to 5 GHz again after connecting;
4, Please try to make your smart plug and router as close as possible when first connection, you can change the place after connecting successfully.

1.Open Alexa App and go to “Skills”;
2.Search “Smart Life” and “Enable”;
3.Login your Smart Life account on Alexa app;
4.Tap”Done” and “Discover Devices”.

Set-up with Smart Life
Step 1： Search "Smart Life" on App Store, Google Play or Scan the QR code on User Manual to download and install it.
Step 2：Connect the plug to your local 2.4G WIFI with your phone connecting to it.
Step 3：Set up your Smart Life account.
Step 4：Plug Amysen mini outlet into an AC outlet.
Step 5：Add Device>ELECTRICAL OUTLET and confirm the device in the App.
Step 6：Easy Mode or AP Mode(Long press on/off button of the device for about 5 seconds).
Step 7：Schedule your appliances
