Once you get it set up, it’s a very easy thing to use. Since I am technically challenged, I watched the installation video and it made all the difference. Very clear step-by-step instructions. I am using the device to turn a light on and off in my guest bedroom when I’m not home. I don’t like coming home to a dark house in the winter, and this device helps me feel more secure.

Love the new Ebryte smart plug with wifi ports. The scheduling feature lets my heat up my home office by connecting to my space heater so its extra toasty when I start working in the morning. Unit is super solid and easy to use. Just ordered 2 more.

I will review this later if they update the app or I figure something else out. While I was able to use the app for USB and manual control it and the powered plug, it was much less useful without the remote control of the app and my cell phone control or Alexa. Im guessing this device is too new to be in the list, even though I updated the version of Smart Life App on my phone to make sure I had the latest. I did this from the app store, because the 3D barcode link failed saying I did not have permission to access the URL for some reason. Again maybe its too new to be out and the App is not finished. I noticed a picture of a screen in the manual that I dont have access to on my Smart Life App. I have little icon categories to link to and this shows a text link to a group called Multi-Function Socket. I dont have that, so Im assuming its not in the App store yet. I tried to generically connect, but it continually failed to recognize it automatically or manually as a standard WIFI controlled socket. I will have to wait for the App to be updated unless I can figure another way to link this up. Ive checked for other Apps, but the Smart Life one seems to be the one it wants. For now I dont recommend, as its limited use unless you need some extra USB plugs. I will revisit this periodically when there is an updated App I can connect it with, and update the review appropriately.

Product showed up overnight and was easy to set up. I downloaded the app and it found the plug pretty easily. Works great!

Very easy to set up on a 2.4 Ghz wifi channel and Im planning on using it to turn on and off a table lamp for a few hours every evening. This will replace one of my old light timers and I can control it anywhere. Pretty cool.

I love the fact you can control the USB ports through alexa. Not many plugs can do that! Great little plug

I buy a lot on Amazon and don’t usually leave reviews, but the ebryte Smart Plug is such a great and innovative product that I just had to shout it out! First of all, I’m not a major “techie” so at first I worried that I might not be able to easily set up this device. However, ebryte’s step-by-step setup video made setting up the unit effortless and even fun. Being able to remotely turn on and off our lamps while we are away gives us great peace of mind knowing that it looks like we’re always home. Recently, my wife went on a trip and I stayed home, but she made me laugh by remotely turning lamps on and off from 150 miles away! And let me also say I am completely blown away by the high-speed charging ports. I did not believe my eyes when I plugged in my nearly dead iPhone and it had a full charge literally 10 minutes later. Amazing. I will definitely be ordering more ebryte Smart Plugs.
