I was hoping to use at our freezers in our buildings. Its less than a tenth of a mile away and it doesnt pick up.

First, setup was very easy. After calibrating all of the sensors (I have 7 total) I put one in each room and one outside. I can now check the temperature in each room from anywhere. Theres only two issues Ive had so far. 1) after setting up the hub, it downloaded a couple hundred GB of data from the internet. I checked the firmware for all of the sensors and the hub but they were all up to date. Id like to know what all that data was for. 2) it works with Alexa... as long as you only want to know the temperature. It doesnt show the humidity and you cant use it as a trigger to turn on the dehumidifier when the basement humidity gets to 45% or to turn on the fan when the room gets to 74°F, for example.

I had recently placed a negative review of this product. However, after more attempts, we DID get it to work (via cable) and so far it is working well. I really WOULD recommend, though, that your modem has a free plug-in place. That was our problem before; getting it connected Wi-Fi can be a challenge. For now, I have freed up a place on my modem to plug in the hub, and getting the device set up and working took a little bit, but now it seems to be working fine.

I have two of these. One placed in each of my deep freezers. They have been online for a year in a zero-degree environment without an issue. Yolink is unique in that they have a long-range and each sensor doesnt add another wifi radio to my house. Yolink also provides the ability to receive text messages as well as notifications through their app.

Very solid construction and feels heavy/durable. I have only had for a month but battery life is expected to be very long. I use this to monitor my fridge and freezer temp because I was having issues. The temp monitoring isn’t real-time, but I believe it updates every 5 mins. Easy to connect to your router with supplied ethernet wire. I believe there is a wireless option but I havent tried it yet. I bought the one with the provided hub. You can monitor your temps and humidity from anywhere in the world using the app. Very happy with the product. Will buy again for future applications.

I dont write a lot of reviews, but this one deserves my time to do so. We have a freezer in our garage, and for whatever reason, the door has been left slightly ajar a few times. And there we are with probably $75 of food that probably should be thrown out. So I went looking for a solution to let me know when thats happened. The YoLink is working great, and has already notified me twice that the freezer door was ajar (temperature rising). Our network router sits in a closet in the middle of the house, and the YoLink hub is plugged directly into that with the supplied ethernet cable. Then the YoLink sensor is in the freezer. It has no problem connecting with the hub through 4 walls and the freezer door. My only outstanding question is whether the sensor batteries will last very long. But still this product is well worth the money spent.

I was reluctant to buy these, or any product similar, but because of the affordable price and the need I purchased them. I own a restaurant with 4 large freezers, sometimes an employee would leave a door open or not completely close it. These have allowed us to get warnings, at the temperatures we choose, so we don’t lose product. We receive notification on our phones from anywhere if a freezers temp goes too high. Was super easy to set up, after plugging in the hub to out router (I hope those are the right computer words) I just had to scan QR codes and we were up and running. Comes with an app that makes it easy to monitor the freezers and set them up with our needs/warning temps. After I had the first two monitors up and running I ordered two more. One in the same room as the other two freezers, in the same room as the hub, and other for the kitchen freezer two rooms away. All are working wonderfully!

Temp/Humidity sensor easy to set up. Had no real trouble getting system up and running. Took another thermometer and placed it next to the YoLink T&H sensor in my refrigerator and the YoLink is off by about 2 degrees. With all that said the 2 degrees calls an alarm because the range of temps for the fridge is 34 to 38 degrees F I even dropped the operating temperature and increased the alarm high a degree or 2 and I still get a lot of notifications. Next I tried to calibrate the sensor in the app, changed the calibration by 2 degrees and saw not change in the reading. I really wanted the sensors so I can monitor the temperatures the warning is a bonus...if I can get it to calibrate.

We purchased this to alert us to power loss or freezer failure. Our two sensors are located one in each of our freezers. The hub hooked up via ethernet. Easy to scan hub and both sensors into the app on phones and set up alerts. The few questions I had were answered quickly by customer support via email so we have been happy with this purchase and it is doing what we need it to. We had a power outage and received notification on our app and via SMS so we could monitor and respond.
