Greater than one weekI am very happy with this purchase. My daughter loves Castle Logix. She took to the game immediately and has enjoyed showing off her castles. It doesnt keep her attention for more than 30 minutes on a good day, but it does challenge her. I expect the game will continue to challenge her for the next few months and then Ill order Camelot Jr.

> 3 dayThe idea behind this toy is that there are a handful of pieces that can be constructed into different configurations that arent always obvious in the puzzle book provided. The children must try to replicate the designs based on what they know about how the pieces fit together. I admire the idea behind this, but my kids (5 and 2.5) are completely uninterested in it. They each opened the box once, and quickly became bored with its contents even after I showed them the puzzles and worked through the first one with them. I think this is because there are so few pieces (4 blocks and 3 towers), so there is little room for imaginative construction. It kind of feels like homework. There are other building toys that have pictures of a constructed building, or plane, or elephant or whatever that similarly encourages kids to use logic skills, although the ads for those other toys dont highlight that fact. Those other toys also allow more imaginative play. Some examples of those are Lego, Magnatiles, and Wedgits. Of those, my kids like Magnatiles the best - building complicated structures with them daily. But if you want something that emphasizes the logic aspect most, Id go with Wedgits. They have hidden blocks in some of the constructions, so kids have to figure out how to position the blocks using basic logic and engineering skills. With Wedgits though, there is still a lot of room for experimentation and creating novels designs and structures.

Greater than one weekI bought this toy thinking my 4 year old girl would like a different type of puzzle and that my 2 year old son could play with the blocks. When my daughter opened her gifts on Christmas morning (she probably had 50 toys to choose from, big family) she stopped and played with this one. I was a little floored. I mean, she had a Power Wheel in the living room! She did several of the pages before I forced her to move on to opening the rest of her presents. I am very impressed with the quality of the toy. It is very well made. The castle look has peeked my sons interest and he plays with the blocks so I am hoping that when he is older, this puzzle will also entertain him. My daughter came back to this toy after all the presents were opened. After all the toys were put away in their new homes this is the first toy she asked for. It is a good addition. It is also a very nice gift for a birthday party. I think age 6 would be my limit on that though. I think age 6 they would still have a little room to grow into it and wouldnt find it super easy. This will be a go to toy for birthday party invites. Depending on the price fluctuation.

> 3 dayWe are using this game in a special needs classroom. Its fantastic for following steps, motor planning, visual perception and fine motor skills. Our OT LOVES the game. I had bought the game previously but my children lost two of the pieces. I wrote to the company to see if I could get replacements and although it took a few weeks, they did respond and send me new pieces. Of course I already bought a new one by that time because I thought they didnt get my email but at least they will replace missing pieces and now I have two full sets so thats okay.

> 3 dayThis was a gift for a three year old..... I have not seen it used but I am told that it encouraged an older grandson to get a bigger set.
