Added these handles to our sliding wood doors for the garage and the work great. Do wish the flat piece was a bit deeper for better grip.

I would have given five stars, but description stated this would work from 3/4 inch up. It does not tighten enough for 3/4 inches. I had to purchase shorter screws to make it work. Other than this, I am very happy with the purchase.

Really heavy duty! I use one one right and left of my barn door. They look great!

I used a 3/8th bit to drill through the wood door. Just by tilting the screws in place youll have to perfect the positioning with help of a level. The gap: Gap between the metal plate and the door is so small that I likely wouldnt have noticed it have it not been for people talking about it. You do not need to do anything about it. But... I used a drill bit to drive in the bolts as opposed to the allen key. This may be why I have little to no opening whereas I can imagine someone using an allen key not being able to get the screw in as much which would leave then a bigger gap. But sure, you can recess in the door , or caulk the edges, but I vote to let it be.

Poor weld; the 2 pieces that are connected to the handle, 1 of them broke off. Luckily, as I tightened the allen screw, it rotated back into place. Also, one the holes on the plate was not completely round but just enough for the bolt to clear. Great price and it serves its purpose.

I had to purchase longer bolts due to the additional art work on the doors. But they look great
