> 24 hourOdorless (I was worried it would be smelly like some other products Ive had in the past, or would be overly secented), non-greasy, easy to apply. Only downside is that it did go on a little streaky, even though I used a cloth to apply it evenly, but it does seem to even out after letting it rest a bit. The leather did darken a bit (about 2 shades) which I was hoping for, so that didnt bother me.

> 24 hourI have a leather hat that I have used for years and did not want to buy a new one. I purchased this, applied it to my hat which has never been treated before and it was like magic. The dry cracking went away, it became pliable, some discolorations also went away, and it became soft and smooth again. I was so impressed I used it on a leather jacket and a pair of boots. I achieved the same results. I wish I knew about this stuff years ago. As stated on the container it will slightly darken lighter brown leathers but the end results are amazing. A little does go a long, long way. Very happy with my purchase.

> 24 hourUsed it on leather outback hat, have worn it in rain and snow works great. I have been using it on my boots for 40 years. Love it. Is good for breaking in baseball gloves also.

> 24 hourThis stuff is awesome. It did not take long to apply at all. I had done my research on a good waterproof agent for a pair of leather boots. I had recently bought some used leather hiking boots for an upcoming trip to the PNW and wanted something to take out some scratches, soften the leather and waterproof them. This stuff worked well on all three. I read online to put the conditioner in the sun for a while and let it heat up just a bit then apply with an old cloth and use a shoe brush to brush in well. The whole process went much quick than I had anticipated. I applied 2 coats. I have been hiking locally a few times since I applied and can report that my boots are definitely waterproof. The conditioner took out all the scratches and made the leather softer. I wish I had pictures to show, but did not take any sadly. My boots are a regular Timberland leather hiking boot. It did darken the leather a little bit.

> 24 hourHow does this product fit???? Weird question for a shoe treatment. Ive been using this product for 45 years. Why? Because it works! Thats why. It does what its name states. It snowproofs your smooth leather footwear. I would imagine, if you dont care about the suede finish, it will treat suede footwear as well. Wait!! It does, because Ive used it on suede boots! (I was going to wear them in the mud, muck, and nasties anyway.) If you want snowproofing and water repellency for your footwear, follow the directions and youll get it. I have found the best way to apply it is with rubber gloved fingers and hands. Rub it on and in the leather and seams. Let the footwear sit in a warm area for about an hour. Come back and rub the footwear with a soft cloth. Thats it.

> 24 hourI used this to soften my hiking boots and add more rain resistance to my work boots. We had Snow Proof when I was a kid in the 60s for our boots.

> 24 hourLike most people, Id like my brand new boots to have a nice, lengthy lifespan. The winter here in New England this year has been nothing short of brutal with a blizzard every week and sub-zero temperatures freezing everything. I bought myself some beautiful warm leather boots and along with that ordered some Snow Proof in order to protect my investment. I love this stuff and its protecting abilities are thoroughly impressive. I applied the Snow Proof onto the leather just using my fingers to make sure I got to every nook. Then I used a hair dryer to warm up the boots and aid in the absorption. The next day the leather had totally absorbed all of the Snow Proof and the subtle darkening that had occurred was gone. The leather did not feel oily or greasy, just soft and conditioned. My boots have since been weather-tested against the snow and at the end of the day they still look nice and clean. They are also waterproofed and any moisture that falls on them simply beads and is quickly gone. I am fully confident Snow Proof will make my boots last! Will definitely buy again, though one little 3 oz tub seems like it will last a pretty long time.
