I did not buy this product for cooking but to use it in my chemistry classroom as part of an experiment and it worked out well.

Love the product, designs over 10 shirts and still have some left. The dye looks great on the shirts

Makes a difference brightening the tie die color, I tried tie die on a dry shirt and then soaked the shirt in this product and there definitely was a difference so this is worth using.
