I have come to really dislike the no-lead solder and its much higher melting point. Tired of burning traces off PC cards, having to use old fashioned 100 watt soldering guns to remove RF transistors, fighting with getting copper traces to tin, tired of mangling RG-59/59 UHF connectors with UG-176 adapters. . . This is the stuff we used from the 1930s until lead was demonized, not that anyone worries about the 40+ lb lead acid starter battery in their cars. This size is what is needed for putting UHF connectors on 1/4 coax and mechanical soldering PC boards to make chassis.

I have bought this same exact solder numerous times. Works very well overall with no complaints. We wire equipment into cars/vehicles and rewire OEM all the time. One spool each will last two techs over a month with no issues. Flows very nicely and doesnt pool up at all. Great quality for the price, will keep ordering every time!

What more could you want from solder? Id wear a shirt that said KESTER FO LYFE if it came with one. Nothing flows and adheres better than kester lead solder does, period! If you buy cheap solder, youre fooling yourself. Dont be a dope, get the real deal and find out what I mean.
