> 24 hourI have come to really dislike the no-lead solder and its much higher melting point. Tired of burning traces off PC cards, having to use old fashioned 100 watt soldering guns to remove RF transistors, fighting with getting copper traces to tin, tired of mangling RG-59/59 UHF connectors with UG-176 adapters. . . This is the stuff we used from the 1930s until lead was demonized, not that anyone worries about the 40+ lb lead acid starter battery in their cars. This size is what is needed for putting UHF connectors on 1/4 coax and mechanical soldering PC boards to make chassis.

> 24 hourIve had no issues soldering 10ga battery wire. Lead free solder is impossible on 10ga with my hakko so i purchased this and works great. I was a little nervous bc of the quality of some stuff on Amazon these days but i believe this is good quality. Works just as good as the roll i bought at ace i ran out of a few months ago

> 24 hourIts solder , it melts when hot enough the hardens when cool and sticks to what it needs to stick to . So yeah it does what solder supposed to do .
