> 24 hourI have flashed the units with ESPhome, and am very happy with them. They have a great Wifi signal range, and am nothing but happy with them. To flash them I had to open them up and solder a few wires, and I was surprised to see the build quality of the PCB. They are using their own Wifi board, not like many other commercial units out there, which are using the standard ESP modules. And judging by the Wifi signal strength they did a very good job! Highly recommended if you want to have switched plugins which you can easily flash with alternative firmwares...

> 24 hourThese little units worked just like I wanted them to. We connected them to our Christmas lights all throughout the house and then controlled them natively via our Google Nest Mini.

> 24 hourDependable smart switch. I have it paired to Smartthings and Home Assistant. The only issue I had was the initial set up but thats because I have a mesh wifi system where the 2.4 and 5 GHz channels share the same name.

> 24 hourThis is a lite unit, and does not have the full functionality of the s31 switch, but has most of the price.

> 24 hourAugust 2021, the pin pads are easily accessible, no trouble flashing Tasmota to it. Disassembly was easy and non-destructive. Great build quality and extremely responsive. I’m running 6 of these, never had a problem.

> 24 hourEste producto cumple muy bien con lo que promete, pero no es lo que mas recomendaria, hay mejores soluciones por precios muy similares, pero si quieres mantener todo bajo la misma marca lo puedes comprar con toda confianza. En mi opinion personal, para el tamano que ocupan, el minimo que deberian de ofrecer es medir el consumo.

> 24 hourSonoff has a reputation for being very friendly to developers and home-automation enthusiasts. It is a very common practice to flash alternate hardware on these. Of course, doing so voids any sort of warranty and eliminates the possibility of sending them back, so its always done at the purchasers own risk. That being said, Ive had no problem with other Sonoff products. However, these are a disaster. I destroyed one just trying to get the screws out. They are in far tighter than could ever be necessary. Another one I destroyed by trying to solder little wires onto the pads for programming. One of the pads came off. All of these might still work with the original firmware, but they are completely useless to me that way. They require Internet connectivity to work, so what happens when my crappy satellite internet fails? I have to crawl around under tables and behind furniture to find the little buttons that I have to press just to turn things on or off. This has been a major disappointment for me. I thought Sonoff treated their customers better than this.

> 24 hourThe item description says S31 Lite, The Lite is only a switch than can be controlled by local switch, cell phone app, or home automation (Alexa, Google Home, etc.). The S31 that is not a Lite is a much better deal in my opinion. The non-Lite S31 has power monitor of watts, amps, line voltage, kwatts used & cost (with rate entered), timer, time schedule, and repeat timer. These additional features are only accessible from the eWelink app.
