> 3 dayThis is a simple solution to a problem I’ve always had with my pet bowls. I leave food down for my dog, so she can free- feed. Before I found this, I tried setting the bowl in a shallow tray with a little water. It did deter the ants. But if any food fell in there, which it always did, then I had another issue! This is an easy, secure and excellent solution to keep ants out of the food and also keep the area around the bowl neat and clean. The top has a non-skid surface with concentric circles to keep the bowl from moving. It is firmly attached to the white base, which is the ant deterrent piece. The ants physically cannot get to where the food is. I clean as needed with drop of dish soap and warm water and let it dry. The white base has 5 rubberized feet to keep the tray from sliding. The feet can come out, so I took a bit of glue and glued each pad on securely.I’m happy with this. It’s saved a lot of food.

> 3 dayI live on the Gulf Coast, and after the pandemic, got his with a infestation of rats. To combat this, I started feeding the feral cats in the area. My plan worked, but ants were making the cats job tough. Ive had this for 3 months now in direct southern sunlight, and its worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI hope it would work and it does! Our next door neighbors dont care for their outdoor cats :( very well. I keep a fish of water and some food. Prior to getting the base, ants would be in both within 30 minutes. Weve gone several days with no ants. You can see one in the white area on the close up. There were several circling around, but cant get up to the top.

> 3 dayAnts were always getting into the food the outdoor cat did not eat. My homemade designs with water and moats resulted in dirty water from dropped food and a lot of extra washing. This tray works for me - I have not seen a single ant on any bowl on top of it. A full grown cat can deflect the upper half downward if its front feet are on it while eating, so I place the bowl closer to the edge. I am buying another one.

> 3 dayI was bombarded with ants recently and nothing worked to get rid of them, which meant that I couldnt leave any cat food out for the starving 14 lb cat (sarcasm). This dish has successfully kept the ants away from the cat food. Cat happy, cat mom happy.

> 3 dayI got this to keep the ants out of my cats food dish because I didn’t want to deal with the ones that you put water in. It worked for a couple of months but the ants found their way to the top of this thing. Such a waste of money.

> 3 dayOur barnyard cats are fed in large bowls for kibble and water. The ants were swarming and I tried everything that wasnt poison. I bought 4 of these magic plates. NO ANTS in the dishes. I can see then scurrying around all confused! Thank you!!!
