> 24 hourI do a fair amount of audio enhancement and preparation for school shows and community theaters. I got this product to replace my original Sound Forge (version 10.x), that I had been using for many years. There have been a number of improvements in v 17. The most notable feature -- one that I will be relying on for every track -- is the average and peak meter display. Since my work has switched entirely to the digital console domain, I have to be more cognizant of volume levels, avoiding any chance of clipping. These enhanced meters make that task much easier. I have also noticed that some of the other features, such as volume reduction, are much more precise and produce the desired results on a more consistent basis. My package also included the iZotope plug ins, although I have not used them enough as yet to provide a fair review on these.

> 24 hourI have been using the Sound Forge Pro for my audio projects. The Sound Forge Audio Studio 17 provides a subset of the Sound Forge Pros functionality but it is packed with features which are adequate for many general applications. To install the software , we need to register for an account and submit the redeem code provided by the package. Once it is done, you would receive a link to download the software with an official serial number.

> 24 hourHonestly, I can not remember the last time I used Sound Forge, its been so long ago and now everything looks so new to me. Definitely a lot more features and more than I will ever need since I probably will not be doing a any podcasting or live streaming. I am mostly using this software for mp3 editing and will be trying to digitize some of my old vinyls when I have time. Trying to get myself re-familiarized with all the features over the last few days and I am still learning new things everyday. I can see why this SF is so useful for podcasters and live streamers. Features like Voval Activity Detection (VAD) where it uses AI to detect vocals in a file and display Red color waves over where vocal is detected so you can make changes or add sound effects dynamically realtime and applying the changes once you are satisfied with the file without having to alter the other part or background music for example. There are also quite a bit of sound effects included where you can use the Plug-in Chain Window to play with. I have this old mp3 file that I was trying to amplify where the volume was so low that my other freeware sound editors couldnt do anything to improve but with this SF, I just drop in that mp3 file, click on the Loudness editing tab on the left located on the left Explorer-like window under editing and then choosing one of the preset loudness to apply to and Voila, the volume was much louder than using any other freewares :). You can also remove Statics or silence instantly as well with just a few clicks. Lots of features to experiment with and you just have to dive in and learn as you go along just like I am doing now. The Layout is very intuitive but you can also change how everything is layout once you are more comfortable using this software to improve your work efficiency. For example, some people prefer to have the Loundness Meter nearby a certain way each time they load up SF, and that can be done and saved in one Layout and another way in a different Layout. There is also a quick Hide Main window where the main interface or window will be closed instantly and replaced with a floating recording bar on your screen, this is useful very useful for live streamers or during recording sessions. Also, using SF, its very easy for Podcasters or Streamers to upload their recordings to any major platforms without having to worry about if their recordings will meet the standards of that particular platform, SF will let them choose the platform to upload to and it will take care of all the details for them, with just a click of a button. These are only just a tip of the iceberg as far as features I am experimental with right now, there are a whole lot more for me to learn :).
