The stand is rigid, and because of the pads at the bottom, it doesn’t move easily. There’s a screw at the back, which can be changed to move higher or lower. However, it doesn’t go very high if you have a small desk.

It’s adjustable, it’s aluminum, it has rubber feet that keep the stand from sliding or moving, it came packed very sturdy and they included 2 extra screws in the hardware pack in the event you lose or misplace one. There are long rubber strips on the top so the laptop does not slide or walk off the stand, it does feel very sturdy. I use an external keyboard and mouse so I can’t speak much to typing on it but it seems like it would hold up fine. Ergonomically though I wouldn’t try typing on it for long periods of time. There are no sharp edges or casting marks, the fit and finish for this price is absolutely worth it.

The only con with this product is the fact that cant go higher than what it is already set at. Other than that, I would buy another one!!

I would recommend using a wireless keyboard because the laptop is sitting at an angle. The height can be adjusted to whatever comfort level is needed. There is some assembly but everything was included in the box. Ive been using it everyday for about 2 weeks with no issues.

I love how you can adjust the height of the stand to accamodate different viewing levels!! Many of the laptop stands being sold just dont have this feature and honestly I couldnt imagine having a stand without this perk. Highly recommend!! Super stable, easy to assemble, and decent price.

Using this with my 16” MacBook Pro. The silver finish is well done and looks nice on my desk along with my lamp that has a similar finish. Easy to assemble. The height adjustment has good range from lowest to highest and it was simple to find a height that worked well for me. The adjustment screw holds firmly - but resist the urge to over-tighten it. Tighten it just enough to hold in place. It is sturdy enough to type on but I primarily use a wireless keyboard and mouse. As pictured, it has support arms that leave the center are below the laptop open for air circulation. If you’re laptop has a cooling fan, check the location of the fan relative to the support arms. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bought for my son to use with his laptop for classes. It is adjustable and easier to see the screen at eye level.
