Raises my laptop about 5 inches which is the perfect height for my standing desk. Also has plenty of airflow underneath so your fan can breathe. It is easy to put together, seems sturdy enough, the 1-star downgrade is for the bracket that holds the risers together does come loose after repeatedly pulling towards me and pushing away when not in use. It is easy enough to just push back in but seems like it could hold together a bit sturdier. Its made of a thick aluminum type material. Overall I am very happy with the riser.

Exactly what I needed. I recently started working with a new project and went from two massive monitors from my old project down to a tiny 14” laptop with my new project. my neck desperately needed a stand from staring down at my little laptop for 10+ hours a day. 100% recommend.
