I got this speaker for Christmas and brought it on a ski trip the next month. We accidentally left the speaker outside overnight during a blizzard. In the morning we dug it out from under a couple feet of snow and it was completely frozen. We let it thaw and dry, charged it, and it works like new!! You would never know it was outside in 10 degree weather in a snow storm! The other people on the trip immediately ordered one of their own when we saw it was still working. So durable I can’t believe it!!

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the not very good documentation. The printed folder in the box was unreadable, even with a magnifying glass. Google searched manual and got a PDF, which could be read easily enough, but the information was not very helpful. Found the Anker support forum and got my pairing problem solved. Be aware when attempting to pair to a Windows 10 laptop, you have to jump through some hoops to update your Bluetooth driver. Once that was solved, the speakers are amazing. I paired them to my laptop streaming classical music. With the laptop on my desk in the basement, I took the speakers up to the first floor and out to the deck. Sound was loud and clear. Playing a movie from a DVD there is just a tiny amount of lag between lips moving and words spoken, but not that noticeable. I could not comment on the battery life as I just hooked them up a little while ago. I turned off the light show on mine so I am expecting to get at least the full 12 hours, but well see. Overall though great speakers at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Great sound quality. But, what were the designers thinking? You cannot see the power button without a flashlight and thats indoors! Seriously, all the control buttons are barely visible and the only thing that makes them stand out is they are shiny. The good news is once its on they light up and easily can be turned off. The beats lighting is bizarre if you are like us and dont listen to thumping thumping music. (Were old people who listen to tunes with understandable lyrics and melody lines). And it has a great bass and sweet spot for treble. The 360 sound will be great for this years holidaze. Good sound in a small package.

I bought this speaker to have something to listen to Podcasts and music around the house when Im working from home, and its super portable, easy to connect to my phone, my laptop or my tablet, and it produces a fairly good sound from something only a little larger than a can of soda. For convenient casual listening, its a great little device. I can even put it on the side of the tub to listen when Im in the shower, since it is waterproof, which makes my morning routine much nicer. If you are a serious audiophile or looking to get something that is going to produce high fidelity sound with rich bass and controllable audio profiles, this device is a little too small, simple and inexpensive for that, but for the price point and the size of the device, it is a great value and really delivers a good experience.

Sound quality is good bass is good volume is sufficient to fill up a 300 -400 sqft space. However, it gets disconnected from my pc every few hours or at least once a day. When I try to pair it up manually, it can’t be recognize by the pc as it was paired before. The only way to get it connected again is to restart my pc, then it works automatically. I would give it a five star if it stays connected without all the hassle

I currently have 4 vintage stereo rigs throughout the house. All restored, modded and fine tweaked by me. I am used to, and fairly accepting of mediocre sound of todays offerings, so when you buy a 40 some bucks bluetooth speaker for a camping/roadtrip - you dont have high expectations, and thats ok. This time was different. This toilet roll sized apparatus is truly your stereo away from home. Very nice balance from bottom to top, right amount og bass that stays fast and tight without breaking up or muddying. The mid section is the best part - surprisingly lush and detailed and non fatiguing. Highs are slightly rolled off, but Id rather have that than shrill or overpowering. Battery seems very good, just turn off leds, which might also give you a bit more juice for peak draw at max volume. Again - for the size and price, it is a very impressive bluetooth speaker. The range is impressive but with one strange caveat. Inside my house I get no drop-outs even with two bedrooms separting streaming device to speaker, approx 25 ft. Strangely, range seems not to be much longer when in line of sight, 30-35 ft before drop outs. TIP: The two speaker units and bass reflex ports are located 90 degrees to the axis running from the soundcore logo to the rubber hinge - If placing the unit in a corner of a room, then you can boost the loudness a tad by making sure the power button if facing into the corner - a couple of inches away. This makes the speaker units bounce off the walls for a bigger sound.

Works great around the pool. Been using it for a few years with plenty of dunks in the pool. Still rocking.

After reading this speakers astounding reviews on Amazon Prime Day, I decided to purchase two of these speakers. Maybe my expectations were excessively high for the two $35 speakers, but the music that was played did not permit me a wholesome feeling. A Final Waltz from Death Stranding was incomplete and lackluster. Epilogue from Dark Souls III was dull and plain. Lost but Won from Rush was uninspiring. An occasional issue that occurred was that the speakers created high frequency rattlings noises even at low volumes. Though fixed after a speaker reset, the problem would arise after a couple of days. This is the first Bluetooth speaker set I have purchased and may regret returning this pair in the foreseeable future. My expectations were most likely exceed an appropriate level for these sufficient speakers. ========================= Lights: The lights were an excessive part of the speaker. When used appropriately, they could create a minor atmosphere in a dark room, yet it does not contribute to the functionality of the speaker. ========================= Controls: The absence of lighting for the Minus and Plus button, though inconvenient, did not create a challenge during the night because one could differentiate the difference through the buttons tactility. The lighting of the Power, Bluetooth, and Lighting proved to be an adequate indicator allowing for easier differentiation. ========================= Feel: The dark fabric surrounding this Bluetooth speaker gives a comfortable feeling for the user. It is does not give an abrasive feeling. The density of this product also contributes to this comfortable feeling. The top of the product is smooth and the buttons are pronounced. The bottom is most likely rubber in order to prevent unwanted translational movement. ========================= Conclusion: With the Prime Day deal and the Lightning Deal, this speaker may be it for anyone who happens to read these reviews in order to make a purchasing decision. There are most likely more effective alternatives such as Zamkols 30W, Earfun UBOOM, or the ZoeeTree 30W. Though these may be more expensive, for a price to quality ratio, these may be higher. I will be purchasing Zamkols 30W now and see if I regret returning this pair. Thank you for reading and I hope you can gain full value and satisfaction of whatever speakers you, the reader, determine to purchase.

    Greater than one week

On the Flare 2 product listing the Flare mini is listed as a newer model. They are contemporaries of each other. The flare 2 is larger and is able to pair with hundreds of other flare2s. The Flare mini is smaller less powerful version of the Flare2 - a good thing. The sound is fabulous and the size is great for smaller areas. It pairs with one other Flare mini. We needed to have several (8) speakers synced together so returned this for the Flare 2.

Excellent sound quality, especially for its small size. Ideal for travel. I like to use it for cruises as the room tv music is not my style and always poor quality.
