> 3 dayWorks great, sounds amazing! Love the color affect too! I bought this because my boss lent me hers for the day. Didnt think my JLB was bad until I used hers. Then I ordered one for myself immediately! So glad I did! I use it every day, all day at work and home! Great battery life too! One charge will last longer than my phone does! Lol!

> 3 daySorry for assuming that everything anker sells in 2022 would be usb-c. Steering clear of anything micro USB for a few years now, that includes the mini flare

> 3 dayFor anyone looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker that actually sounds great, go no further! I am as picky as you can find regarding sound quality. The downfall with most portable speakers is the unbalanced mix of high frequencies and missing bass. Play a song with crushing low frequencies, and the speakers turn into mud or distort. Play them loud and the highs make your ears bleed. These little gems are amazing! You hear the entire frequency spectrum, and while the bass wont shake you out of your chair, you hear the bass! These are an engineering marvel as well they reproduce the entire sound spectrum. I was so impressed, I bought a second one 2 days after the first one arrived. I could not wait to try pairing them for an even more immersive experience. You will not be disappointed! Forget the big names and expensive price tags of other portable Bluetooth speakers. My friends with the more expensive big name brand speakers exclaim these sound better! I have had many of them too, and these far and away exceed them all!

> 3 dayThis is a nice, well built speaker. The audio quality is what you should expect from a budget product. Its pretty good, but not great. Best setting is going to be on your desk, or workstation. 2-10 feet range. Beyond that it is certainly audible, but it needs to be nearby to get reasonable results Better at reproducing music with a lot of space By that I mean jazz, R&B, or easy listening. Hard rock like a Foo Fighters wall of guitars sound is going to be a bit garbled. Cleaner sounds like Gladys Nights midnight train to Georgia for example sounds good to my ears. Again, not nearly as busy with overdriven harshness. Dont get me wrong, I love hard rock, but this device isnt capable of reproducing it well IMO. Also, as with any speaker, it matters a lot where you place it. This one picks up a fair amount fullness and low end, if placed on a natural wood surface. The wood becomes a resonator, like an acoustic guitar top does. Mine also drops the bluetooth occasionally, even though my source is very close to it. Not sure whats up with that. Have not and probably wont test the waterproof qualities. Cant say on that one. Nor the lights. Only turned on once for grins. The bass boost button has very very little effect, nor does the equalizer on the app. Still, I recommend this speaker, if you understand its limitations. If you want a room full of clear bassy rock, gonna have to spend a lot more money Cheers~~

19-11-2024This speaker is a solid option in its price range, but really stands out by being waterproof. Its small, like the advert pics show, but puts out a solid amount of sound. So far Ive experienced no distortion with heavy bass (though its not going to shake you...). The highs are crystal clear. What really amazes and pleases me is the performance you get in a waterproof speaker of this size for this price. I took it boating and it got hit by a fair amount of ocean water on deck. It kept playing the whole time. I would also highly recommend the company (brand), as their customer service worked with me on an issue and were super responsive. If youre in the market for a cord free, waterproof speaker you are going to have a very hard time finding anything else of this quality at this price point elsewhere.

> 3 daySound is great and powerful. Only the complain is hard to see all the feature button ( power, volume so on) I have to pick up speaker close to the light every time when I need to push volume or power button, it’s quite annoying

> 3 dayWas looking to get my mom a portable Bluetooth speaker for Christmas and ended up getting this one. When it came in I was surprised it was somewhat heavy. I was thinking it was going to be a cheap speaker. Once she opened it and I set it up for her, I was truly amazed by the sound quality. Couldn’t believe the amount of bass coming out of a small speaker like this compared to others I had. She loved it! I ended up ordering the regular Soundcore Flare for myself after reading that it was louder and you could change the light patterns, sound settings through Bluetooth witch this one does not have. After getting the regular one and comparing it to this one I found that the bass is slightly better on this one even though the regular Flare does get louder. If I had known this I would have also gotten this one and not the regular. If you are looking for something small that you can take with you anywhere with great sound quality/price then this speaker is for you!

> 3 dayI got this speaker for Christmas and brought it on a ski trip the next month. We accidentally left the speaker outside overnight during a blizzard. In the morning we dug it out from under a couple feet of snow and it was completely frozen. We let it thaw and dry, charged it, and it works like new!! You would never know it was outside in 10 degree weather in a snow storm! The other people on the trip immediately ordered one of their own when we saw it was still working. So durable I can’t believe it!!

> 3 dayI didnt realize this was the mini version until I got it home, my own fault for not reading the product description. I have several of the Anker speakers and absolutely love them! The sound quality is incredible, the price is great, waterproof is an excellent feature, and the style is awesome. This one though, does not have the best sound quality. Its smaller so is going to put out less but it doesnt really live up to the standards Im used to with Anker speakers. Still worth it if you dont listen to music with heavy base. But if you are that type of person Id definitely go with the full-sized version or maybe a different Anker speaker altogether.
