Best thing is it keeps the water from not becoming to hot it the tube (I live in az) and vary easy to install it just clip and go

I bought this not really to replace but rather to add a section of tubing because of how far back my hydration bag was in an infant carrier. It worked perfect.

Great back up hydration hose for the Source System …

I liked that I was able to replace a piece of the hydration bladder, which is a tremendous benefit to my rucking routine. I lost a little o-ring on the original hose, which rendered the hose useless as there was no seal. I was glad to learn I could but a replacement piece instead of a whole new hydration bladder. I used this hose daily for over a year, so it has good durability. Its a little tricky to clean because it is a smaller tube, but where theres a will (and a proper wire brush!) theres a way.
