> 24 hourIt needs female-female connectors for LAN and coax. Other than that the product works great

> 24 hourThis tester is good for the price. It has performed perfectly for the cables we have tested.

> 24 hourI was very disappointed at first. I was trying to use this to find some cat 5 cables in our office, and I discovered I couldnt hear anything from the probe if I got more than a couple of feet down the cable. I wrote a bad review, then I thought to check the cat 5 connector for the tone generator. Turns out the RJ-11 plug that goes into the generator was not properly connected. After snipping it off and crimping on another connector, Ive got much better performance.

> 24 hourLove this thing. Compact, various connectors work flawlessly, and to top it all off its cheaper than competitors and it actually works better than the Fluke I had (the blue one). At low gain I can pinpoint cables with accuracy and precision and the probe will be nice and loud even at low gain.

> 24 hourReally great tester. A bit more expensive than other options, but you get what you pay for. Nice case to hold sender and receiver.

> 24 hourThe only time the wand actually picks up the tone is when youre holding the point of the wand against the tip of the cable youlre testing. I might as well just guess with my cable tester till I buy something else

> 24 hourOk, so the sensitivity adjuster is a totally terrible design. Primarily, if you are searching for a single trace in a large bundle, this will go off- beeping at any wire in proximity. If you crank the sensitivity down, it still has the same beep, just quieter- YOU STILL CANT DISTINGUISH A SINGLE TRACE. Itll beep on every wire adjacent to the transmitting wire. So, in the cramped quarters of a car or engine bay, this is useless- Especially if you dont have room to separate the wires.

> 24 hourThis is a great little piece of kit. The only thing that i have say in a negative way,is the fact that the cables supplied with the device are not the best quality and have a tendency to fall out of location, but that said,it’s a real time saver.
