Not to sound dramatic, but a week after I bought this, the hard drive on my laptop died. I just happened to back everything up the day I received this. Backing up was easy and simple to use. I love this thing- its rugged, durable and very easy to use- just plug it in your computer and start backing up. I own a Macbook pro and used this to sinc with Time Machine, which I recommend so you dont have to manually back things up. I HIGHLY recommend getting this and backup everything. And my laptop recovered, it was just an internal cable issue. But the thought of having backed up is the best feeling! Computer techs can only do so much, theyre not miracle workers!

I bought this for my son’s Xbox, and it is so user friendly that even I can figure it out! You just plug it in and it automatically detects it and you can start loading games or files on it! Definitely great value for the cost!

Very little to dislike, this is a great little portable hard drive. Actually considering buying another.

The drive seems ok so far, however, Im very disappointed that it did not come with two cables as shown in the picture and listing. Instead, It came with one USB 3.0 cable and a cheap USB-3 to USB-C adaptor, which is weak and wont maintain a signal if I move my laptop and hard drive. I will have to purchase a new cable to be able to use this directly with my Macbook.

I really enjoyed this hard drive, until it stopped working after 2.5 years. My computers can no longer read the hard drive and it makes a sound.

This is a nice external portable drive. I have dropped it a few times, with no problems so far.
