> 3 dayIf you are going to be sitting right there with this heater, then it’s fine but I wanted to put it in a room to maintain the temperature but the lack of a thermostat prevented this.

Frustrated
23-11-2024It was a decent heater, warmed my office enough, never got totally warm. But bought it Feb 21st and it went out today June 7th. I know it isnt the most expensive, but dang I got one for my house 3 years ago and a box store for $13 and it still runs strong. But of course I cant return it cuz it is too late. bummer $20 down the drain

> 3 dayI bought this heater as a Christmas present for a family where there was an ongoing feud about where to set the thermostat for the house. Dad was a warm-weather native, and the mom and daughter both preferred things colder. So dad got a space heater from me so he could roast himself to his hearts content in his office while the ladies layered on the sweaters in the 60 degree main parts of the house. For a small office (maybe 10 x 10 x 8), the reports I get tell me that it works just fine. I played with the unit a bit before I gifted it, and I wouldnt try to heat a large space like the very open and airy living room of my house. But I tried it in my own office (12 x 12 x 8), and it did just fine. Have realistic expectations that youre not buying a major HVAC system for your whole home, and be aware that you dont have as much control of the thing as you have with an actual home thermostat, and you should be able to make it work well for you. Three people have stopped arguing over the temperature in the house, and the fact that theyve moved on to their other grievances is a good sign that this thing works.

> 3 dayThis worked well for me for the past year. I use it in my office, and it heats the room very well. Unfortunately we were moving things around so I had to unplug it from the extension cord, only to discover the prongs had melted the extension cord plug & we couldn’t get it out. That was rather concerning, that the prongs would get so hot that it was melting the plug. Needless to say it went to eWaste immediately

> 3 dayOnly had this heater for one month. Bought two of them and they both stopped working? This should have lasted longer than one month.
