Kept my suitcase damage free.

Purchase 3 of these to use with new luggage we wanted to keep from scuffing during travel. 2 of them held up on the first trip but the third broke at the clasp after one leg of our flight.

Good product buying another one for a larger suitcase.

On both my departure and return flights, the bottom part is no longer secured by velcro when i picked my luggage from the baggage claim carousel. Zipper would have been better. Overall it did a good job protecting my hard case luggage from scratches and mechanical grease.

If the workmanship on this product was good Id have given it 5 stars. It may have been my bad luck, but received two defective items. The first was missing one side of the strap. Contacted the seller (HoJax Direct) and they responded right away but they couldnt do anything because it was fulfilled by Amazon. They said that I had to contact Amazon. In the end I had to do a return and re-purchase, which was fine, but it went up in price. My replacement item was also defective in that the seam was coming apart on the side. Since we have a trip coming up soon and not wanting to deal with the hassles of a return / re-purchase again were just going to pay someone to re-sew the seam.

Arrived broken, missing clip to snap into. Trash.
