We can concur with the other reviews. We live in a Senior Living community in New Hampshire where they use A LOT of sand on the roads and walks. I bought a cute hedgehog brush last winter and it only lasted one season. This one will be with us for a long time. The bristles are much longer than pictured in the photo and really scrape the sand off our shoes, even yesterday when it was so cold the sand and ice had a paste like texture. Then the brushes swivel to the side to knock the sand to the floor. Then you have to sweep the floor, but life is not perfect. Better than bringing it into the house. In the photo you can see how much sand has been brushed off our shoes.

We had a dirt problem in our house and I had no idea how to solve it. My husband generously walks our dogs twice a day and on the weekends we all go to the dog park. Going in and out of the house his Merrels and boots pick up so much dirt and debris (not to mention our two Aussies) I was vacuuming twice a day. My husband finally suggested we order a boot brush for the front door. There are a lot of boot brushes to pick from which is something I did not anticipate. This specific brush is recommended for commercial use and is FDA compliant - sold. The first two days this thing was at our door the amount of stuff coming in the house went down dramatically. The brush is genius. We dont have it attached to anything, it just sits outside by the step and my husband stands on the metal on one side and brushes the bottom of his shoe on the other side. It is really an easy process. One per week I sweep off the ground underneath the brush because holy moly does stuff collect under it. I like this brush because there are replacement parts easily available if we need them in the future, it is sturdy and easy to use. Its not the most attractive looking brush in the world, but sometimes function needs to exist over form.

Works great for all sides of your boot or shoe

Its a really handy, and it gets rid of the dirt on my shoes, and its good quality, but the bad thing is it doesnt fit in the house, because it leaves the sang and stuff in the house, which is a lot of trouble for me, but its a lot better than the one I had before.

Bought one of these for our backyard a couple of years ago and very effective at removing grass and mud from shoe treads. Just bought another for the front door as well. We did not have to bolt it down, put one foot on the stand and it stays. Thank you for a great product!!

Have been using this replacement brush for the last few months - great upgrade to existing shoe cleaners where the brushes are worn out.

Works very well. I have it sitting on dirt and it doesnt move around.
