I tried carving rubber stamps without using this tool, but it takes a lot longer without this tool to get a lot of material off the rubber. I found out this tool came in handing for a beginner like myself. Im shire Ill find other uses for this carving tool because Im a arts and craftsmen.

> 24 hourGreat little kit that holds onto all the pieces you need to use it. Just wish the grip worked better... after a while it loosens itself, so keep an eye on it and tighten it regularly so that your carver doesnt go flying!

> 24 hourVery user-friendly and fun to use. Sharper than expected, be careful. Id recommend cutting on a surface that can be marked up.

> 24 hourI used this product to etch a pumpkin. I was loving how well it worked, until I went to change nibs to the size #1. To my dismay, the base of the nib that is inserted into the cutter was broken on one side--this made insertion tricky. I could get it in, but it was almost impossible to tighten it so that it would not wiggle. I was not able to use nib #1 to do any fine lines.

> 24 hourThis was my first time trying my hand at making a stamp. It is definitely an art, and the pattern that I was trying to create was not for beginners, but the tools are perfect. One just needs to practice and be patient

> 24 hourThis tool is exactly what is needed for block printing with rubber stamp pads. The extra blades hang out inside a compartment in the handle, and they are easy to change out. Although I would recommend buying 2 do you dont have to change them out as often for different sizes. The blades slide easily and smoothly through the rubber.

> 24 hourIt gets the job done but only one bit (deep v) fit snugly. The ends you put into the bit are inconsistently curved and some werent making enough contact. Problem was resolved by wrapping a piece of masking tape around the inner bead. I could do maybe a half hour before my hand cramped into a claw. There are better sets out there but for the price, this is a good starting point for beginners.
