Greater than one weekThe cutter assortment arrived within one day. My daughter needed them for a high school art assignment that involves carving linoleum and then making prints. Her teacher sent me this link and thats how I came to purchase this specific brand. It is the same set she uses at school and works exactly the same way. So if you are carving linoleum and making prints, this will do the job.

> 3 dayThese were purchased for my girl scouts to make stamps for letterboxing. The tool is so easy to use. The ease of placing the attachments on the handle are great. Having different sizes for the stamp carving makes it so worth the buy. Highly recommend.

21-11-2024I dont use it much because I havent felt a need to use it for anything more than my initial urge to want to make my own stamps. Havent tried other cutter sets to compare but I like it. It is fairly easy for me to use and I know I wont lose any of the blades because of the way its designed. Some might not like that its plastic? But I dont mind. I think I may prefer it because its light. Some might find the grip difficult this it is a bit thick if you like more of a pencil/pen/exacto knife feel for more control?

Greater than one weekThis is my second set, as the metal chuck wore out and would no longer hold the blades tightly on my first set. Also, the cap for the storage in the handle often comes unscrewed. It does a fair job and is ok for a beginner, but I feel it would be aggravating for a serious artist.

> 3 dayThis cutter is pretty cool. I love how the bits tuck into the handle so you dont lose them. I ordered this cutter with some carving rubber so I could give rubber stamp carving a try. It works really well, in my limited experience. My only complaint is that sometimes the cutting parts get stuck in the handle after using them and you have to fidget pretty hard to get them out. I actually had to use pliers to pull one of them out after using it.

> 3 dayI love the design and how comfortable feels when using it. At the beginning might be a bit tricky to get the blade in place properly, but the system is pretty straight forward once you get the trick. However, after a few months the blades have gone unsharpened and I dont really know how to make them sharpen again. Is there an instructions manual or replacements?

> 3 dayI realize that this is an inexpensive tool for beginners. But I also read reviews from experienced lino cutters that they really like this tool. I hate it. First of all, when using it as a palm tool (fitting the rounded end into the palm to push the blade across the lino) the screw lid keeps coming off and all the blades fall out. Ive already lost one blade that took me two days to find. Second, they lose their sharpness very quickly. Ive been using it for two days and already the small V tool is dull. Since you have to buy new blades all the time you might as well spend a little extra money and get a few decent tools. I cant afford the really expensive tools, but I spent around $40 for four Mikisyo Power Grip tools and they are much superior. You have to sharpen them so you also need to buy a whet stone or slip strop, but its well worth it for the longevity, ease of use and MUCH better cutting. Oh, and the blade screw comes loose while you are cutting, and the blades get stuck and I have to pull them out with pliers. Other than that........
