> 3 dayI have been cutting 1/9”aluminum plate for a couple days . Tried these bits as it said aluminum so cuts worse than my other bits and running slower broke 2 bits in 10 min didn’t make it through first pass so I’m done these won’t work for me .

21-11-2024These are great for my CNC milling machine and CNC router machining aluminum. Finish on my milling machine is superb, I run them around 4800RPM and at recommended feed (as per GWizard calculator for the width and depth I need) and have not broken one yet. On the router I run around 10k RPM and 25-50% of recommended feed rate, finish is not as good on side walls due to lack of machine rigidity, not broken one yet cutting 1/8 plate aluminum. Definitely will buy again, I have other larger SPE tungsten end mills and they all perform very well.

19-11-2024I am a avid hobby machinist and generally use these in my sherline mill. I have tried almost every brand of end mill and primarily use YG1 Alu-power and Gorilla mills, which are some of the best you can get. These 3 flute end mills are absolutely razor sharp and as you can see in the picture I cut my finger pulling it out! They cut like butter in steel or aluminum and for me personally the 3 flute is the best of both worlds as it cuts fast like a 2 flute with good chip evacuation but leaves a much better finish, with a ridgid mill you can expect almost mirror like finishes. One of the best parts is you get 5! 5 end mills for less than $30 and they are perfect, if you are looking for razor sharp and long lasting micro end mills then these are a no brainer and I personally bought 20 of them which will last me forever.

> 3 dayI just got started using my SainSmart desktop CNC but needed an Upcut End Mill for an aluminum project. These end mills have done a great job chipping away at my project. The construction of the desktop CNC is a bit lacking so I can only cut 0.005 in depth per pass. Ive run one of these end mills for 100hrs or so will no real change in cut quality. I did break one end mill when a part came lose during a cut but that was my own fault setting up my material improperly.

> 3 dayThese bits work great on desktop CNC machines for milling aluminum. For the price, you get 5 bits which is nice. The only downside about these bits is that they are uncoated, so they do wear out relatively quick when compared to a coated bit. But other than that, I have no other complaints. I was able to get very smooth finishes from facing, after a finishing pаss of 0.002”.
