My Samsung S20 phone was draining fast so I needed a fast charger just like the OEM wall charger. The standard USB-A to C works but was slow, regardless of the stated high output. The USB-C to USB-C was the solution. It now charges super fast, just like the wall charger. So definitely go with a USB-C to USB-C if your phone supports that input.

This is very useful to keep in the car. There are still persons using USB A chargers, this allows us to use both and not have unnecessary e waste (ok its a small impact, but it matters). I use this together with the Spigen Dura Sync 3 cable (separate purchase) to occasionally give my iPhone 12 a charge for no longer than 15 - 20 minutes. Sometimes i may have a friend in car who also needs a charge, the Dura Sync makes it easy to charge other phones as well. This is perhaps the most practical and efficient car charger you can get, but as a rule of thumb, i never charge phones in the car for more than 20mins at a time, just my habit, I have no data that suggests its good or bad to charge that way.

I have a Pixel 6 Pro, and the last Spigen charger I had bought wasnt cutting it (very intermittent charging for me, the 27W little square arc charger of theirs). Their cases are superb. And this car charger is excellent and not intermittent. It rapidly charges the phone, has another QC quick charge entry and is well suited to todays higher wattage smartphones. The last one I had was a 15 watt one (previous OnePlus 7 Pro car charger) but that was 2 years ago and well... 15 watts is now a minimum instead of an oh wow how fast. This car charger rocks. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality. Very tight in the 12v outlet which is great so you know it will not fall out. Gives me super fast charging on my s21 and s21 ulta. Great purchase

Charges fast with an anker cord for my Samsung 21 ultra.

I was happy, at first, to find a charger that wasnt going to blind me at night with superbright LEDs. One reviewer noted that when LEDs are close to various screens, or in the drivers line of sight, they can be a distraction. In my car, however, the charger is down by the gearshift, sort of at knee level or lower. The problem (for me) is that in order to minimize the brightness of the LED, it has been set in a tiny little hole, a couple millimeters below the surface--so unless youre looking into the hole, at least in daylight, its pretty much hidden. So, it really depends on where your vehicles charging port is located.

Ive been very happy with this charger, but I dont use my car charger nearly as much as other folks I know and in less than 6 months it has stopped charging -- or at least become very fidgety and mostly not charging, then sometimes, with a lot af trail, error, removing and replacing and turning getting that blue light and an indication my phone is charging. I expect more than 5 months of light use before having to buy a replacement.
