Greater than one weekThis is one of those tools that will last for decades. Good grip, color, easy to see and great bumpers on each side for shock absorbing when it falls.

> 3 dayIve got the 6, 4, 3, and now the 16 Stabilas. Ive recently installed some stackable retaining wall blocks. I set the base with a builders level and my 6 Stabila, along with my new 16 Stabila. I like it a lot because it has more length than a Torpedo level and I particularly love the handle style grip.

> 3 dayI bought the 16 inch Stabila type 196 level a couple of years ago as part of a package with the 48 inch level. To be honest I bought the package to get the 48 inch level. The two level package was too cheap to pass up. This level is exactly what you would expect....a shorter version of the gold standard Stabila type 196. The type 196 construction is especially beefy for a 16 inch level. Okay, its strong, accurate and good looking, but what do you do with it ? I found it to be perfect for leveling 18 to 24 inch kitchen cabinets. There are those times when a more common 24 or 48 inch level is too long. Thats when you reach for the 16 inch. Its also great to have when you are packing light and dont want or need to take a larger level to a job. I dont know what your specific applications are, but you wont find a better level if you want quality, accuracy and strength. A little pricey, but youll enjoy it every time you use it. Highly recommended. Good luck.

> 3 dayI had a Stabila for over 15 years till a few months ago. A person on a job decided he wanted it more and stole if from me. I asked his brother to look in their tools to see if he could locate it, he couldnt. So I had to purchase another. This stays in my tool bag and its my go to level. I used it from decks to framing and all projects in between. This is quality that will last and last. For craftsmanship quality demand the best and get Stabila. The last level youll ever need, Till someone steals it......

Greater than one weekI purchased this level, and the also the 32inch version thinking I would be getting a well designed accurate tool that I would own for years. Wrong.
