> 3 dayI bought this for a handheld cheese slicer. After tightening it stretched when slicing cheese. For 316L Stainless Steel it seems to not have the tensile strength I expected.

20-11-2024This company has many different gauges of steel wire that work well in jewelry applications, from making links to wire wrapping. The price is very reasonable.

> 3 dayI got this for some beading projects because I wanted something that would last and not tarnish. Time will tell about the tarnish, but the metal seems sturdy enough even though its easy to bend. 24 gauge is the perfect size with natural stone beads and looks great with them.

> 3 day316L SS is one of the best for ohm/ TC/ heating purposes with the least amt of burn off released - esp compared to kanthal, nickel & evn titanium... While this has a slightly higher amt of nickel content than SS430 (which is nearly impossible to find), it does give one of the cleanest, pure tastes of all the wire out there. I personally prefer a heavier/ stiffer gauge at 24g - using it for my usual 2/3 or 3/4 wraps - .17-.20 ohms at approx 13-14.5 watts on a RDTA w a squonk BF Pin. ...and this wire at 100ft! is a phenomenal deal - sure to last me quite a long time, as compared to the usual 30ft spool!

20-11-2024This wire coils almost as easily as its 26 and 28 gauge sisters. Easily manipulated into the shape you need.
