> 24 hourThis is the wire you want for deck railing the 1x19 cable is stiff and helps keep cable straight once installed.

> 24 hourThis worked great for my cable railing. Be aware that this is stiffer than the 7x19 1/8 cable. I wasnt able to use the thimbles I bought easily, but it worked very well and was great quality.

> 24 hourBe sure to have some commercial grade steel wire cable cutters. Regular wire cutters wont cut through this stuff. It is far superior to other wire cable Ive used in the past and I will buy this again when needed.

> 24 hourI bought this on amazon several years ago when building the rails for our deck. I also bought the terminal connections and hydraulic crimpers. The project took some time because you have to be very careful to get everything measured and drilled exactly right obviously, but as long as you take your time - the outcome is excellent. My primary concern was that it was a cheap stainless that would rust over time - I live directly on the salt water and things rust at my house if you look at them funny... but these have done reasonably well. If you get up close and look at them there might be a little rust between the individual strands but not enough to notice at all as we sit around enjoying the deck. This is one of my better DIY projects ever - everyone who sees it comments on how clean and nice it looks, compared to many we see that are thicker cables and use hooks and eyes rather than the little screw connectors and drill through caps. The picture that looks like a crooked post is only because I was zoomed out to 0.5 to get the entire railing in the picture - so it looks fishbowl. Its perfectly straight in reality. The railing in the pictures is about half of the deck railing. So all that you see, and about that much again you dont see, all in for under $500 and a Saturday of careful work. Nothing physically challenging at all, very easy to do. But you need to be good at math and critical thinking to plan it to come out just right.

> 24 hourI bought this cable for a modern looking interior stairway hand rail (instead of traditional wood balusters) and it came out amazing. This cable feels like a strong, durable product and didnt feel like it was going to kink or bind while I worked with it, which was important since its made to look straight & tight between newel posts. It was also clean to the touch & required no cleaning (I wasnt sure if would have a light oil on it to protect it in the packaging). I also used the cable cutters from PanoRAIL which worked well and their Swageless Turnbuckles & Terminal Lags for the project. Highly recommend!
