With the price I was surprised at how sturdy this bell is. It is very attractive and the sound it makes is so quiet and beautiful that I could listen to it all day.

Durability is the best I’ve seen, there’s no way your birds can rip this apart. You have to get one, might be to big for your Conuard’s and parakeets , it’s super heavy,

Definitely sized best for small cockatoos and smaller. Might want a slightly bigger bell for the bigger birds. They would enjoy it better.

I have a senegal that has destroyed everything I have given her including 2 cages. She also hates bells lol. 2 weeks now and she cannot even scratch it though she did manage to dent one of the bars of her cage. High marks to this product. Oh, and sometimes I have to take it away because she likes to remind me I thought this was a good idea :-)

I have parrots and have purchased heavier metal parrot bells for them in the past. However, this bell I intentionally purchased for use as a dog bell on my front door, after having a repurposed a parrot bell in the past for this use. It works well as a dog door bell! Its light enough to not mar the door and heavy enough so that my boxers do not damage it or pull it down when they bang on it. They chain is actually the perfect length, as well, for my purposes. The bell is loud enough, but not too loud. Probably the perfect sound for a parrot bell. As a dog bell, it might have been be a little better if it was a bit louder so that the sound would travel longer distances in the house. I can still hear it, but dont always readily notice it in the areas farthest from the door.

It’s made of really good quality and has an awesome meditation zen type ring to it. It’s not annoyingly loud or anything. My African Grey def likes it. The only fall back is it is very short. It would be nice if it was a little bit longer.
