I hate cheaply made tape measure but this one is great. I am an electrician and I use it everyday.

My husbands old Stanley measuring tape finally wore out after 20+ years of use building projects around the house, garden, garage, etc. I got this one for him. Hes used it for a couple months now building a greenhouse & is very happy with it. The utility knife was a bonus.

Review is for the 25-foot rule only. Construction quality is fine. My disappointment is with the features. Lacks measurements on the underside of the tape; should have upper as well as lower lip at tip; and magnet at tip. All useful and available from other manufactures at similar price.

Stanley quality as expected and was promptly shipped.

My husband and I have a running joke - no matter what he is looking for, he asks me where it is as if I have some sort of built in homing device.

I was very surprised to find that this product was much better quality than I had expected. The cutter is strong, and the tape is larger and heavier duty than my previous ones that cost even more. My only criticism is that the instructions for inserting the blade into the cutter are sorely inadequate. They consist of one poor illustration, but I figured it out.

This is my third of these tapes. The first two are still in service but I needed another one for my toolbox.

The Stanley 25 PowerLock is my go-to tape measure. Always liked it, always will. Oddly, it is often cheaper to buy it bundled with the utility knife than to purchase the tape alone.
