Try finding a full metric tape measure at Lowe’s or Home Depot .. you won’t. This is the same quality fat max Stanley tape that I’ve been using for years but in Metric. And I wanted an ONLY metric tape.

They had to ship this to me from Germany. The package was open on both ends and when I picked it up, the tape fell out. Traveled a third of the way around the world like that. And people complain about the mails.

I was glad to finally get my hands on a metric tape measure. Its unbelievable to me how difficult it is to find metric tools in the United States.

The FATMAX is sturdy and doesnt flop around like others.

Trying to be a metic guy. Find this great to use, and prevents me from falling back to inches.

Im a contractor so I use this take measure all day, every day. I make hundreds of measurements a day with this tape. It is a well built tape measure. It is really nice because it is a metric only tape measure so all the lines are easily visible compared to the tape measures that had metric and Imperial on them. The United States is the only big country still using the weird Imperial measurement system. Seriously we need to get on board with the rest of the entire world and use the metric system which is such an easier way to measure things. Sorry about the rant. This is a good quality tape measure but Im giving it 4 stars because it isnt as smooth of a tape pullout and retract as the Milwaukee Stud 5M tape measure I have.

measuring in millimeters is so much easier than dealing with fractions. An inch / metric combo is okay except for the time when you need the register marks to span the entire width of the tape blade.

BEST TAPE MEASURE (yes all caps) Ive ever used. For years and years ive been used other brands to constant frustration. Wish i had switched hed to this beast earlier
