Only tape measures I buy. Needed metric in the states. Couldnt even order it through the Stanley rep here. This UK seller got it to me quickly, especially considering customs.

Best tape in the world. It will last for years, just keep it dry.

USA carpenter here. Finish work and cabinet making is much easier with a metric tape. Finer scale, greater precision. Also much easier to perform arithmetic with decimal measurements instead of fractions.

I’ve been measuring, cutting and fitting things together almost all my life. Being 65, I remember when we in the states made a very feeble attempt to “metricize”. I, like virtually everyone here, resisted successfully. Stupidly.

They had to ship this to me from Germany. The package was open on both ends and when I picked it up, the tape fell out. Traveled a third of the way around the world like that. And people complain about the mails.
