19-11-2024Bought it because of the name on it. Havent ever been disappointed with any of their products. Dont know how much I can write about a nail set. If you need it you need it and this one holds up well. I will say the knurled edges of the set have torn up my hands a little after punching down 75+ finish nails in hardwood floor but it comes with the territory I guess. If youre using this a lot you might want to opt for the cushioned set from Stanley. I figure those are probably less taxing on the hands.

Greater than one weekI have hardwood floors that someone thought putting small nails through in spots would help it from shifting. While it seems to be working, some of the small nails tend to creep up with the temperature change and seasonal humidity. I recommend.

> 3 dayI recently pulled up all the carpet in my home in order to redo the hardwood floor underneath. It is around 80 years old and has a ton of nails and staples in it. The staples were easy to pull out but there are so many nails that the wood is getting damaged from pulling them out no matter what tool I use because they are so deep. I use these punches to pound down the nails deep enough in order to fill with wood filler and then sand etc. Works like a charm. Good tool good price!
